While the decor and patio is inviting and the staff seemed friendly, the food is basically inedible. I'm not one to complain and... didn't even contest the bill. I basically knew from the watered down salsa and the inability to know the difference between afrozen drink and one "on the rocks" like I ordered, that this wasn't going to be the best food. I really had no idea how bad itcould get. My chicken was unseasoned and like rubber. My kid ordered fish that might as well have been jerky. It was just gross.Neither of us ate our food. Great place! The Horchata is fabulous and authentic. My favorite dish is the chicken on a bed of rice covered with cheese. They... have four types of salsa to try (I'm not partial to any of them but have friends who rave over different types lol so options isalways nice). Read more
Will NEVER eat here again. If you are thinking about eating here, Don’t! First of all there was a kid at the bar then an even... smaller child SITTING ON THE FLOOR behind the cash register. Several of the drinks that are on the menu they don’t have and Ibelieve never did. The drink I ended up getting the chunks of ice were so big it wouldn’t come through the straw. Table andchairs are dirty. We should have got up and left at this point but we were hungry. Food was underwhelming and not hot. Thewaitress/owner has a NASTY/RUDE ATTITUDE. The service was terrible. She never asked if we wanted a refill of our water, napkins,any freaking thing. She had to be flagged down like I was landed a plane in. We left unsatisfied. Ended up leaving a jacketbehind, my niece went in to get it, do you know that same rude chick had the nerve to tell her “come here let me talk to you,you have to leave a tip when you eat in or don’t come” ARE YOU OUT OF YO MIND?! Food is pretty good. Authentic Mexican. I always get the carnitas taco dinner on corn shell. I've had it delivered through Door... Dash several times and it's always the same, salsa and chips included (homemade). They're my Mexican go to in Springfield! Read more
