"Adam" at the front counter argued with me trying to tell me I wasn't charged for my meal. I showed him the charge on my bank... app, and he still argued. He read the last 4 of the car, I said that's not mine, he still argued. He turned the screen around toshow me, and it wasn't even my order. The cherry on top? I tipped, and I paid extra for avocado that wasn't on my sandwich. Ihave been stopping here for years on the drive from my house to my parents. Won't be back. Read more
Went thru drive through, Autumn waited in us. Told me to pull forward and I did. She brought my food out but forgot my tea. When... I asked about the tea she was rude. When she brought it out, she said in a very rude and short tone, "next time you need to askfor your drink at the widow, it's exhausting to have to make a second trip out here". I told her it wasn't my fault she didn'tgive the drink, she knew what I ordered. She responded with I know, I'm just saying. Restaurant was filthy inside. Ordered a Southwest Chicken and Avocado salad. They replaced the chicken with what they claim was... a "substitute chicken product" without even informing me. Budding lunchmeat would have been a step up from what that productwas. This quote above was directly from the Area Manger's email in response to a survey they sent me. Watched two other tablesget refunds while we were there. Didn't ask for money back or have a desire for a free meal. Just want them to get their acttogether. Geniuses there sent me a survey about the experience. I answered it honestly. Received a reply from the Area Managerlecturing me that the survey is "This portal was built for positive feedback and to address issues." So if you don't wantconstructive criticism then only allow 5 star responses and nothing else. Love McAlister's but the Springfield IL DirksenParkway location is terrible. Really sad. Obviously the problem is from Area Manger right down the line. Read more
Food was good, but there were several things missed in our order. We didn?t received the chips or the pickle, and my salad... didn?t have cranberries, when I specifically chose it because of them. As said, food was good and we enjoyed it, but we wouldhave liked to know if those items were not available and have the option to pick something else. Review your order before youleave!!! Read more
I've never had a bad experience at MaCalister's. ALWAYS fresh and ALWAYS absolutely scrumptious! If you haven't given them a try... it's an absolute MUST! There's nothing on the menu that isn't absolutely amazing! Read more
Food was good for a quick lunch type sandwhich. I love the potato salad!! Tea is good too. But the Ruben is where it's at!!!... Yeah you pay a little extra here, but it's worth it. My only down fall about the place is it's cleanliness. It just opened andneeded cleaned up. Marion Illinois location is a lot better... just saying!!! Read more
