This was my first time at loukinens! Great atmosphere, great menu, and great food presentation. Was very pleased with everything... I tried today! Will be returning a lot more! This is our go-to local restaurant for any celebration meal (birthday, anniversary, etc.) The food is spectacular. You cannot go... wrong with anything on the menu. Everything we try is better than the previous dish. The drinks are strong and the service isexceptional. Read more
We had a great dinner on the patio. The owners were both working and stopped by for a table touch. The food was excellent and... our server Kaleb made great recommendations and was top notch. We tried the Manchurian cauliflower appetizer and it wasdelicious and something unique. The special was a softshell crab and ribeye surf and turf. The crab was amazing and the steakwas cooked as requested and very tender. I can't recommend this restaurant enough. The food and service are some of the bestyou're going to find in Springfield. Very nice place to come for lunch. I had a regular cheeseburger and my boyfriend had the kicked up burger. Both burger were... juicy and cooked well. My boyfriend was a little disappointed that their chef hot sauce was just siracha. But the burgers weregood. The fries were lightly seasoned and crispy so I enjoyed them. Overall the environment was nice and clean and the waitressand hostess were polite. I'd like to come back for dinner. Read more
We hosted a bridal shower here and it was lovely!! They got napkins to correspond with the bride’s color scheme and helped to... make the table look festive! Shannon, the manager, was helpful and friendly and made the process easy! Kelly was our amazingserver. They were both great. The cake was DELICIOUS and the food was also lovely. Believe any and all hype you have heard about this place. It’s all true. Went with my wife for my birthday dinner tonight.... Atmosphere, service, and food were totally on point as you would expect, but they get all the little things right too. Like whenyou have a reservation at 6:15, and you arrive at 6:15, your table is waiting for you, and they take you right to it. The mealwas perfectly paced. Every course was brought to us at exactly the right time at exactly the right temperature, but we neverfelt rushed. Lighting was subdued, but not dark. Music was there, but not intrusive. Dining room was full, but not loud.Everything was just right. Oh, and then there’s the food. I am sure the other appetizers are great too, but you have GOT totry the Manchurian cauliflower. A whole head of cauliflower dunked in some kind of crab sauce, breaded and deep fried, thentossed with this spicy Asian sauce. If you don’t like cauliflower, this might make you rethink that. I had the blackenedgrouper, and my wife had the pecan stuffed chicken. We split a molten lava cake for dessert, because why wouldn’t you? This isdefinitely a treat for a Low-Rent foodie like myself, but as bougie food goes, this place is neither over-the-top expensive norpretentious.
