Dad and I dined here for lunch on a trip to Iowa. The tables needed wiping, the floor needed mopping, and the men's bathroom... was out of order. The women's bathroom that they they had you use (it only had one toilet) needed cleaning. I ordered a 3chicken and 2 fish platter and Dad had a 2 fish combo. We had no trouble out of the cashier or crew. My chicken and fish tastedokay overall, but Dad and I both agreed our food tasted a little greasy. Also, their grease tasted a little old. Read more
We were glad to see that they were open for inside dining. We were able to order immediately. The men's restroom needed a new... light as one was not working at all and the other was dim. Prices were a little higher than expected. There were severalpotholes in the parking lot. Read more
Visited with some friends from out of town...Food was extremely greasy (tasted like old grease) and the hush puppies were over... cooked to the point that they were rock hard. The restaurant wasn't the absolute cleanest and it took forever to get our food,must have had to go catch it fresh from the sea ???????????? Definitely would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Food greasy af almost thought I was going to have a slight heartache half way through my meal. Hush puppy?s were pretty much... toast and I asked for crispys and did not receive them. Pretty sure I wouldn?t have wanted them anyways. I think you all need toget some new grease in them fryers frfr???? your food is coming out nasty ????. I?ve got to go and throw up frfr now! Best LJS anywhere! Visited around 2 on a Monday afternoon. Skeleton crew, 2 workers. Service was prompt, food was hot, fresh and... generously portioned. Chicken planks can be rubbery sometimes, but not here -- perfect! Read more

By far one of the best in the country. My husband loves LJS and we've been to many throughout the county. Lately though we've... had a few that were horrible. He was just about to give up on finding a good one but this was great. Freshly cooked, justperfect. Read more
Arrived at 910pm everything said closes at 10p. Walk in totally got attitude from employees standing around. Then told carry out... only. Most of dining room mopped with no wet floor signs. My order was wrong but didn't want to go back in to argue.. Very badexperience Read more
