We were in Jamul and saw Steele 94 Restaurant Bar. Stopped for dinner I had a 1/3 pound burger with bacon so good with... fries,husband had 1/2 pound burger with onion rings. The onion rings were great. Had a bloody Mary and my husband had a beer.Met the owner who was friendly and so was the service. Food came quickly and was a must try place if you haven't been. Hands down some of the BEST tri tip and Pollo I have ever had. The potato salad was phenomenal. Our waitress, Terri, was super... fun and very attentive. The owners were also there and incredibly nice. We will definitely be back for more and I highlyrecommend. Read more
We went to the Summer Solstice Bash. They were serving lobster and shrimp. Nice little place. Psydecar was playing. Good music... and awesome food!! A great place to eat and listen to music. The staff is exceptional!! ?? Read more
Received coupons in the mail which they would not honor. They told us and another customer they were only good for Mon-Fri... which was not anywhere on their coupon. Food was good but would never go back as their customer service sucked. The manager orowner whatever she was, was very rude. She was more interested in introducing her bestie to a customer. Read more
We arrived Monday, August 1, around 11:50. We were told the kitchen was not open yet as the cook was not there yet but we knew... it was open at 12 so were fine at that point. Finally around 12:20 we had to go to the bar and ask about getting our order in. There was only 1 other person there at the time. We were told the cook was there and waitress/bartender finally came and tookour order around 12:25. Received our order around 1:00. I cannot complain about the food, but the place was empty at the timeexcept for 1 person at the bar and we should never have had to go get someone to come take our order. This is the second time wehad an issue with getting our order taken. The first time in April, it never got put in and waited about 30 minutes before wehad to finally go find out why. Waited another 30 minutes. They did compensate us by taken half off that meal. So the servicein our experience needs a lot of improvement. Read more
Do not get the cilantro chicken salad! It's flavorless and I'm pretty sure they watered down my dressing. With that being said,... I am giving this place a 5 star because the last time I went we got the Baja Platter and it was delicious! Service is greathere! Waitresses are attentive and welcoming. This is only my second time coming but definitely will be coming back. Live bandis awesome and the atmosphere is nice as well. I love that they have a back patio so you can bring your dog. My salad was blandbut oh well! Ya win some you lose some! Read more
They?re usually very good with customer service. Came in today and was disappointed. Today?if you weren?t the bartenders friend,... service didn?t exist. This lady did not care in the slightest about service. Asked for a shot and a chaser. She mixed the chaserwith the shot. She said she?d fix it. About 20 minutes later she did after talking to her friends at the bar. Whoever thisperson is?she?s not friendly, she?s not polite, and not a good bartender. The other 2 bartenders are great.
