This used to be a great restaurant. They have remodeled and cramed tables in and the tile wall and floors resonate even the... quietest conversation. It was so noisy I could not talk to my wife who sat next to me without raising my voice. The problemthere is that Everybody has to raise their voice just to have a conversation. As far as food, the lasagna used to be wonderfuland rich. This time it was just another lasagna. Could have had a frozen one from the microwave and it would have had moreflavor. The bread came to the table AFTER I had eaten most of my lasagna and there was no bread before the meal. I was verydisappointed. The service was slow as well, but I excuse that because they were fairly busy. I shouldn't excuse it, becauseit's a business that should be able to serve their customers, but I do understand things like this happen and it's not thewaitresses fault at all. The best Italian food I've had in a long time. I went with a party of about 10 people and EVERYTHING everyone ordered looked... really good. They have probably the best Caesar Salad dressing I've ever tried. The rustic vegetable soup was delicious and sowas the chicken picata. Read more
I love pizza, but most of my family does not love it like I do. So when we decide to have pizza, my fiance prefers the more... traditional pizza, like Gaetanos. This time we also ordered meat raviolis, and gnocchi. My first time having gnocchi, and iloved it. I obviously can't speak to it's quality as an authentic dish. The pizza was great as well. Read more
