Very delicious place to eat. We showed up for lunch on a Saturday around 11:30 because I kept hearing how good their burnt ends... are. They weren?t ready so I ordered a brisket plate. The brisket wasn?t ready either so I got a pulled chicken plate which wasdefinitely very good. I was a little disappointed to not get the burnt ends but that just gives me an excuse to come back.Besides that it would definitely be a 5 stars. The baked beans are also really good. They have a lot of cuts of meats they sellwhich all look great. When I go back for the burnt ends I?ll get a tomahawk steak and some brats. Read more

I can't believe the difference in taste since I last came here. The macaroni was horrribbbllleee. Whomever cooked on 8/8/22,... shame on you. The Mac was over done and tasted like canned cheese, otherwise, no flavor. The chicken was dry, No flavor. Thebrisket was fatty, no flavor. The beans were good and ironically, the potato salad was good (I never like anyone's potatoessalad.) The ribs were good just needed more season and the cole slaw was trash. We liked the sauce. But man, I cannot say hownasty that Mac was. I've never had macaroni taste or look so disgusting. I don't think I'll be returning. Bummer, was good lasttime. Almost $50 down the drain. Read more

Great little hidden gem! Don?t let the exterior fool you, this place is delicious. Great food at a great price. Call ahead, or... takeout, there is dine in, but limited seating. Plenty of sauces offered, great combo plates, and very friendly staff. Read more

The bbq sandwich and brisket were awesome! We also ordered beef, chicken, bacon and steak to take home and put in the freezer.... The staff were friendly and knowledgeable of it's products. We will definitely return for lunch and fresh local meets for ourfreezer! Read more

First time there got the ribs and tres leches cake. Second trip got the pulled pork, and my last trip the bratwurst which was... huge. They did forget my order once, but I was in no rush so barely noticed. Nice people, service is normally pretty fast aswell. Would recommend. This is a ?must visit? north of Spring Lake North Carolina near Fort Bragg and Pope Army airfield. Right off 210 underneath the... green water tower. It is more of a Texas style barbecue joint with hand cut butcher meat. One of their specialties is the pulledpork but this is not, repeat not North Carolina BBQ. However as a native North Carolina I did enjoy it. They run out of burntends early which is why I ended up with a pulled pork. I was served enough for three meals. Read more

I had the brisket sandwich. The noble meats were perfectly covered in BBQ sauce that was absolutely delicious. The baked beans... that I had were highly enjoyable. The food was quick to come out. We sat outside & the employees were kind enough to bring itdirectly to out table outside. Quite a really fantastic smells inside with all the cooking going on. Read more

Another local BBQ restaurant?s owner actually recommended we try this place, which should tell you something. The owner and... staff are wonderful and provide the excellent and friendly service you?d expect in a small-town, southern restaurant. They havea lot of meats to choose from but we had the pulled pork and the burnt ends. The pulled pork is not eastern NC style, and comeswith a thick, sweet sauce. Without the sauce, it was a bit dry, although this may be because we got there right before theyclosed. The burnt ends are the best I?ve had in the state. For sides, we got red slaw and new potatoes. Both wereexcellent. Overall I definitely recommend coming here whenever you?re in the area. I?m looking forward to coming back andtrying some of their other meats and sides. Read more
