Waiting to unload at the CAT facility down the street. Needed to grab a bite to eat. Got the Nachos and the catfish. It was... absolutely delicious. Nachos were completely home made and a meal all by themselves, and the catfish with sweet potato fries andhush puppies was more than filling. A salad on top and I thought I was going to pop! Waitress was kind, patient and attentive.Great food, great service. And a little side note, I?m from the place where Wizard of Oz was set, and have been to the Wizardof Oz museum many times. Finding a piece of home this far away was quite an amusement! If you have the time for a nice meal, Ihighly recommend this restaurant. Read more
Clean your shrimp. I don't want to eat shrimp poop with my salad. Also if someone orders a Caesar salad with grilled shrimp.... Please clean season and grill your food. Shrimp poop isn't a flavor I enjoy. 2nd don't drown the lettuce ???????????? ..butblueberry cobbler was delicious. Ohh please do something about that smell. Read more
Nestled in this middle-of-nowhere sleepy town we found Michael's and decided to give a try. We weren't huge fans of the gaudy... interior (but I am not very stylish, so take that for what its worth) and were a little worried about the prices for such asmall place. My wife ordered the "meatloaf of the day" and I ordered the "pasta of the day." Everything was absolutely,positively delicious. The pasta had a cream sauce, great portion, taste was on-point, vegetables (broccoli) cooked tender-crisp.My wife loved the flavor of the meatloaf. Great unique taste, generous portion, perfect meatloaf texture. This grill would standwell against big-city restaurants with the quality of food. A+! I do think they could modernize a bit, include drink menus topush that side a bit more, maybe highlight a drink of the day, too (we didn't even know alcohol was served until we were leavingand saw the attached lounge). Bottom-line? We will be back, even with the 25-minute drive! Read more
