Very quaint ambiance, and friendly wait staff. The front desk hostess wasn't overly warm or friendly. The food tasted good, but... what lost a star in the rating was the chicken was overcooked and dry, and the collard greens dip appetizer was served warm nothot, despite being warned to not touch the baking dish because it was hot. The crispy brussel sprouts stole the show! Quite delicious. The cocktails were tasty, and our meals (beef medallions and the... pork chop) were both good, but the brussels were really the highlight of the evening. My only complaint was that the caesarsalad was absolutely drenched in dressing. The dressing was good, but there was just far too much if it. If the salad had halfthe dressing, or twice as much romaine, it would have been great! Read more
Lovely local restaurant for a nice night out to celebrate or just enjoy good food with your favorite people. This is a must... visit while in Spring Hill! They have a fabulous selection on their menu of classics with a fun spin. Daily chef specials-delicious! A great bar with a good cocktail menu and fabulous bartender. The dessert menu has mouth watering options and thevibe is cozy and nice. They also offer Coke products and Dr. Pepper from the fountain. The staff are all very friendly andhelpful. The food was all so delicious! And I’m an atmosphere person at restaurants, the Mockingbird has a good atmosphere andpeople that make you feel at home when you walk in the door. Very delicious lunch. I ordered Beef Medallion, grilled chicken with Bar B Q sauce , fried green tomatoes and Country Fried... steak. Very tender steak with home made sauce, great kids environment. Will re visit for Dinner next time. Read more
A gem, hidden in plain sight. The menu has a great variety, but everything nods to southern food. Delicious appetizers, sizable... main dishes, and crafted desserts. Expect to spend $75-80 without alcohol, but it’s worth every penny. Read more
If you are traveling south of Nashville and looking for some of the best fresh has to be home made food in an extremely open... inviting and friendly restaurant you absolutely have to stop in! It's only 5 minutes off the freeway but be sure to plan anhour just to enjoy yourself in both the meal and the surroundings. This if NOT premade canned boxed and microwaved food, it'ssit down getting caught up with an old friend over a great meal. I highly recommend the pecan chicken, it is what you willcompare every other meal you ever have to, and be sure to order the skillet chocolate chip cookie for dessert. You can also getcocktails from their full bar I don't really drink much but there run and come went down pretty good lol ???? The price is veryreasonable even with drinks and dessert it wasn't more than we usually spend for a decent meal, and it was way better the usualchain restaurant meal. 6 in our party & we all loved it! Quaint environment, so fun. Food was good, nice presentation, friendly staff. We get so bored... with the typical chains. So I really enjoyed the environment & some foods that aren’t in most places such as friend greentomatoes. Rooms feel private, so catching up with old friends there was very nice. Nothing bad to say. Super cute venue, it was toasty and elegant on a cold day and the food was very good. Paulie and Dayja (sorry if I butchered... those) were wonderful! It was cold and rainy outside and all the kids were restless and acting like animals- sorry again. Theywere very patient with them and Paulie even played musical chairs with them. Read more
