Bob Evans has been my favorite restaurant for years and have taken family and friends there and made it their favorite also but... the food is not what it used to be. In fact nobody wants to go there anymore. The quality and portion size but mostly qualityare, well lets say leaving me feeling ripped off. I had a Chopped steak meal with mashed potatoes and broccoli, side salad andof course the desert that comes with the meal. Had the desert many times in the past. For a while customers could only get acookie as desert but I suppose that was changed. The desert that I loved was a pathetic joke. Basically it was nothing but abowl of whipped cream with a slight amount of microscopic chopped peanut butter cups. The peanut butter filling was about 1/2inch thick and not the taste it used to have. The richness is gone. And what was called a chopped steak was like one of thefrozen hamburger patties you get at the grocery store with so little onions and mushrooms one needed a magnifying glass to findthem. I have given it many chances since it started going down hill but I am not sure now. I wish I would have taken picturesbut unfortunately I did not because I would have posted them for other patrons to see. Read more
We went to have breakfast late morning on Sunday. There were multiple couples waiting outside. We went inside and the... restaurant had multiple tables open. The people in front of us said party of 4 (but there were only two standing there) and thehostess said where are the others, and it was replied they are right there walking up.So they were seated right away. Then sheasked us and we had party of 2. It will be a thirty minute wait. So you are telling me that they will not seat you at a tableor booth because there are only 2 people and make you wait for a two person table ?? No thank you we left and went to anotherrestaurant where customers are important!! This is poor customer service. Read more
We eat at Bob Evans once a week. They have really good food. However, yesterday I was joking with the server and she was... laughing and talking to us. After taking our order, a manager comes out and says I offended the server. The manager walks awayand I'm thinking we will get another server. Taylor, the same server we had comes back. She didn't seem upset at all. Seemslike the manager was the one upset. We went to pay and Erica never smiled and didn't say thank you. We will ask for Vicki nexttime. She is great. Read more
Great, Freindly service. I had a delicious omelette w strawberry lemonade n fresh banana bread! Everything was GREAT! It had... been too long since I was there n I 4got how goodness fresh it all tastes! Plus the waitresses n cashiers R so real n warm nprofessional! 1 of my fav place 2 eat! Went to this Bob Evans for the 1st and last time yesterday. The girl who sat us had a bit of an attitude. Our server was great.... She was the ONLY server working while we were there. She is the only reason why this review got 2 stars. I'm also going to givea warning... I ordered the 2 cheese pot roast sandwich and I'm almost positive it gave me food poisoning. Could have been themeat or the gravy. I dunno. So, I won't be going there again. Read more
Bob Evans is a very good country style restaurant. When we walked in the door we could smell the bacon on the skillet, which... made me hungrier than I was before I entered the establishment, of course I had the bacon and eggs breakfast and it wasdelicious. And the service was real good. So the Next time I'm in the Brooksville/Springhill area, I'm definitely havingbreakfast their again, and you should too. Read more
To be greeted upon entering a business, always feels good & to be sincerely greeted by several employees, feels great!! Food &... service are always excellent here & another plus was the MOD checking all the tables to make sure her patrons were happy. Read more
