We love the atmosphere and the food & drink. Typically, the service is very good, but this visit the younger male bartender,... whom we never seen before, was inattentive. The most we had at the bar with my wife, and I were 3 other couples so it shouldn'thave been so difficult to get a second & third drink. We left earlier than planned and didn't eat because we had to ask for eachdrink even though our glasses/bottles were set on the edge of the bar, empty, he would walk past them multiple times and notoffer us another drink. We stayed here for 3 days at the end of the summer season in our 24' trailer. It was quiet and the sites were larger than we... expected. It is a big park with a lot of areas for walking. It is an easy bike ride into town. There is a nice dog park upthe road. We enjoyed using the pool, shuffle board, and mini-golf course. We visit the area once a year, and we will be backnext year to stay again. Read more

My fiance and I went to Liza's Lagoon which is right before this resort. I'm assuming it's all one entity. Either way, this... place is amazing. It was our first time. We took our 3 kids and niece. Their ages range from 1 years old to 13 years old andthey ALL had fun, including us, the parents. It wasn't over crowded, no rude adults/kids. It was VERY clean, including thewater, sand, picnic table area and bathrooms. The people working at the concession stand were very polite and friendly. You'reable to pack your own food and drinks (just no glass of any kind which is totally understandable) They offer standard snackssuch as Ice cream treats, chips, candy bars and drinks. All, in my opinion, at an affordable price. Children 5 years and youngerare free and seniors 65 and older are free. Everyone else is only $12 per person for a day pass- so all day from open to closeif you want!! We were there for 5 hours and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. They have many other options at this resort that wewill be looking into, next summer. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who just wants to get out and have fun at anaffordable price! This place was wonderful. I didn't take a picture of it but their Gouda Mac & Cheese bites are AMAZING. So creamy...so... delicious. And this burger...is it for everyone - no. It's a mix of a spicy burger and a bbq/western burger. But it works. Andhas a good kick too. And those chips - homemade. So good and came fresh to the table. Read more
