Reviews for Ixcanul in Spring Arbor, MI
The food here is really good, the staff is friendly. Every time we eat here the owner comes to our table and asks us how our... meal was- great guy. They now have a liquor license - it a huge choice of spirits but my margarita was yummy. Definitelyrecommend! Read more
We stopped by in a Saturday afternoon and we're able to get right in. The food was good and different than your typical Mexican... restaurant. Half of our party went for Mexican food and half for Quatemalan food. The staff was very friendly and the cookeven stopped at the table to make sure we were happy with everything. The food was more culturally authentic than most places,so if that is what you like, then definitely try it out. It was a nice change of pace for our group. Read more
Amazing food. We had the churrasco and pupusas. Everything was delicious.
First time there, went in, ordered takeout. Very good food. Friendly and knowledgeable hostess, who I believe was also the... waitress. I asked many questions about the food before ordering and she clearly knew the menu. She was not family to theowners, just a college student with a job, doing her job, and enjoying her job. I was impressed, that's not something you seevery often these days. Stop by, enjoy some good food and quality service. Read more

1st time here. We ordered off the Guatemalan menu. Our server Alyssa was fantastic. She explained the menu which helped... tremendously. She took great care of us. We will return to try something different. Read more
Really excited to have another ethnic restaurant move into this space. The food was fantastic, even for carry out. We were so... please with the speed that it was ready and it was actually still warm when we got it home. Can't wait to be able to eat in.Really hoping to be able to soon. The dining room is open and airy with huge bright murals on the walls, really an invitingatmosphere. I appreciate that there is a dividing wall from the door that helps keep the draft from the dining room. Read more
Great change of pace for a small town restaurant. They have lots of familiar Mexican dishes as well as several Guatemalan... choices that are similar but with interesting ingredient and spice differences. Highly recommend checking this place out if youdon't have the palat of a 2yr old afraid to try anything new. Read more
