I used to really enjoy this place and keep coming back hoping it'll get back to better but it's not. The experience and food... were less than no Bueno. Extra star hoping they'll try harder. Save your money and go to Popeye's. They make this place sound like it would be Cajun but there's no seasoning, not even the... tartar sauce had flavor, it was watery. Red Beans and rice? More like rice with some canned red beans dumped in it with the canjuice. The canned green beans had a little flavor, but not much. The fish, fried and grilled were flavorless. The cheese stickswere horrible. Then there's the smell of old mop water and the dirty bathrooms. But, if you want to watch sports, they haveplenty of screens. Came with a large party of 15 for a birthday. They gave us 2 waitresses but instead of teaming up they split our party. The one... waitress that served the other half was good with them but acted like it was a burden when we asked for anything. Our waitresswas not paying attention to the table. We sat for 15+ minutes after getting drinks before ordering. She completely forgot totake someone's order and I had to go find her to tell her. She would only take care of one set of people and walk away insteadof taking everyone's order at once. Do not go to this place. Waited 45 minutes for something they called Jambalaya. No refills offered. Bathrooms were flooded from... the rain. No towels to dry your hands. Could go on and on. Has to be the worst place to eat at in the Houston area. Read more
We ordered to go and we frequent Tews often and we?re pretty disappointed. Boudin balls were uncooked, fries were old, cold and... mushy and the order of 18 wings were cold. For 31+ dollars of food, it should be served correctly. Read more
Me and my husband came here for a Monday date night. I've been passing this place everyday and reminding myself to give it a try... and this was the place I picked this time. Our waitress was Katie and she recommended the gummy bear shot. I could tell theywere going to be pretty lit by the sweet smell they gave off when she handed them to us. Guess what, they were even better.Let's just say they were so nice we had them twice! We won't be driving anywhere else tonight lol. Thebartenders/waiter/waitresses there are very attentive and weren't shy on recommending food and beverages. The music selectionincluded all of the classic goodies and created a prefect bar and grille atmosphere. I had the byo burger and added bacon and afried egg on a jalepeno bun while my husband opted for the fish tacos with blackened catfish. My burger was bigger than Ianticipated and cooked to a perfect medium and I really liked the fries. The blackened catfish in the fish tacos was prettytasty as well and paid really well with the doing sauce. Overall, we enjoyed ourselves on this visit.
