Yummy donuts, classic style donut shop. The kolaches were just OK.
There is nothing worse than being treated poorly as a customer. I ordered 2 dozen assorted donuts that were packed into a small... box. Maybe it?s just me but seriously? What?s the point of ordering donuts with toppings if you?re just going to smash them intoa box together? Upon asking if they had flat boxes I was told you have to request that. Great do-nuts and friendly staff! I always love a good do-nut!!!
Staff and service expected. Dozens donuts+14 Kolachi's=$48. Wow. Seems expensive to me. $2.90 each for a small piece of... sausage covered with bread then meat. For this price should be better quality. Read more
There are few guarantees in this world. One, however, is the downright rudeness of the entire staff behind the counter at this... Shipley?s. It?s almost comical and it?s at the point where my children beg me to not come here because of the treatment they andI both receive. I can?t imagine working in a place where you hate your job and/or your customers so much to where you seethewith anger but here we are. And it?s just a drive thru donut shop. I don?t expect overt niceness ? just common courtesy. Inaddition, $1.35 for a plain donut that does NOT look fresh? no thank you. I like Shipley?s. Just not this one. The donuts here are consistently good and fresh in my experience over the last 10 years, but we like Kolaches a great deal, and... the Kolaches are consistently sub par. Specifically the cheese is usually leaked out and the inside dry. I have been to manyother Shipley's and find that this is a problem about 50% of the time. The only consistent one is on N.Main and 45 South. Read more
This place is great and friendly. Love the donuts too. They then made us a special request that another store blatantly denied... without exception. Maybe they can make some that the kids love, as a request. They call these candy donuts. With the "nonperils"the kids love them. Even I like them. Read more
Went the other week, they have a sign that reads they have FRESH HOT DONUTS available from 5 AM - 11 AM. (I went at 6 AM) When I... received my donut, the donut was cold and the manager said ?we?re not constantly making fresh ones.? When I asked why they had asign that was misleading. I let them know I?d be leaving a review to let others know because that?s misleading on their end, andthey proceeded to turn off their reviews for Google, lol. Read more
