This was my first time at Pressed. I ordered the original açaí bowl and substituted extra blueberries for bananas and almond... butter for agave. Something to note- the fruit was actually fresh and I only had one blueberry that was a little soft. To me,this is a big deal because most açaí bowls I?ve had have soft/bad fruit in them. However, the fruit in my bowl was as fresh asit gets! The flavor was great and I felt the price was fair for what I got. The service was a bit slower than I expected, but itseemed like one of the guys was possibly still in training. They have shots and bottled drinks but they?re pretty expensive forthe size. I signed up for the rewards program and received a free banana chocolate protein shake (it?s pre-bottled). It?s madewith pea protein and although I?m not a fan of plant-based protein, it was surprisingly good! It didn?t taste like banana at alland the protein taste wasn?t like other protein drinks I?ve had. Join the free rewards program before you go so you can redeemyour free item on your first visit! They also have a paid VIP membership, but I?m sure it?s only worth signing up for that ifyou plan to visit often. Read more
I am grateful for a place like this -- I noticed it by Chipotlé on Market Street. "Pressed" is a quiet, quaint, clean and... perfect place to reset, and to get a healthy beverage that will satisfy your thirst. I was greeted with a warm smile and ashort explanation of their products. There are original flavors there and you can sign up for a free drink. When I drank minefrom the ready-made bottle, it had a nice tang of tumeric to it. I love Pressed açaí bowls and was very eager to get one for breakfast this morning. On the website and on the door of the... juicery, it states that they open at 9 a.m. Mon-Fri. but I?ve been sitting in the parking lot for 15 minutes (it?s 9:38 rightnow) and doors still haven?t open. I hope whoever was suppose to open is okay but it?s still very unfortunate for the businessto have their customers experience something like this. Read more
