Visited a friend in the Woodlands and we were looking for a great Japanese place. We found it! Everything we ordered was... absolutely divine, yummy, delicious, exquisite! Superb sushi! Great portion sizes, right prices, excellent service! Spentabout $55 for the two of us and I ordered several dishes and sushi to sample multiple items. Extensive menu of choices!Everything Americans would expect like shrimp and vegetable tempura, but plenty of items to choose from if you want to beadventurous like octopus. The decor was lovely. It truly felt like a nook in some corner of Japan. Authentic Japanese designmade for a nice atmosphere. The one thing you should know is this place does not do the usual hibachi set up, so if you arelooking for a show where they cook in front of you, you won't get that here. Omg so good! Everything was so much better than I expected. Kids loved the hibachi chicken and onion soup. Kan’s special roll... was to die for. My husband got some mango roll that he’s obsessed with now! And everything was so reasonably priced! Loved it.Wish I lived in Houston to come whenever I want!! Absolutely the best Sushi and Steakhouse around! Everything is made fresh when you order it. Very worth the wait time. We always... expect to wait a while longer than other restaurants because of the deliciously fresh made food. It's absolutely 100% worth it!Staff is amazing and very courteous, always smiling. I love Kan’s! Connie is an amazing chef and small business owner. I’ve been a customer of this restaurant for several years... and will continue to recommend her restaurant to sushi lovers. Um the food is amazing but it's 9:14, placed my order at 7:30, she said one hour and we are still waiting!! No one picked up the... phone to take the order and online order said not available. Such a shame for amazing food. Read more
