We have driven by this place for years and never stopped by. A friend requested take out from here ? we?re glad she did. We... wanted a light dinner so ordered tomato basil soup (bowl x2), lentil soup, grilled cheese croissant, and Greek salad (x2). Itlooks easy to order off the web, but we decided to call it in. The employee took our order quickly and texted us a copy of thereceipt. The food was ready at the time requested. It was packaged for easy transport (the soups were in secure containers ? nospilling when we knocked one over?) All the food was very good (the grilled cheese croissant has 2 types of cheese and wastasty). They have a lot of sweets in the store too ? we did not try any this time, but they all looked good. My review is only for their pastry shop as I never experienced dining there. This used to be my favorite place to get decadent... and high quality deserts. I am European so I know good stuff. Yesterday was the second (and the last) time I purchased hereafter the change in ownership (few years by now)and everything is so sugar laden even my 5 year old could not eat her slice ofcake. Nauseating and artificial strawberry taste. If someone needs this amount of sugar and food coloring ? head straight toKroger and save some $$$. The service was great and deserves a huge star. The quality of the sweets, cakes, coffee, every menu, everything is beautiful and very tasty! Myfavorite is ?Moussaka?, you die for it!!
