So the bathroom was a hot mess with broken toilet paper and paper towel holders. So at first I was going to overlook the fact that they forgot my bourbon sauce and that was the MAiN thing I was craving! I... kept wondering why I tasted salt. And my rice is majority salt and butter???????? salt and butter?????? praise the Lord I don?thave a blood pressure issue. Only thing good was the croissant, which could be a little hotter. We ordered the white fish, one lemon pepper and one... blackened. Lemon pepper was too salted and blackened, appeared they place season after the fish was cooked. Sweet carrots tastelike candid yams and salad was not fresh. I usually go to the location on 290 in Cypress. I was close by so I decided to give them a shot. The hostess was wearing her... attitude on her sleeves. She lead me to a table and just threw my menu then said, "sit here." My waiter was pretty cool. He wasvery attentive and even made suggestions. Most of the stuff that I've interacted with after the hostess were pretty friendly. Iorder the steak medium but it looked medium well. The food was okay overall, but I was a bit disappointed. We had great service by our server Joel. He was very attentive and polite. Our steak was not it we asked for our steak medium... rare and it was more than well it was crispy but very hard for our liking. Had two watermelon margaritas even though they ranout of watermelon we still enjoyed them! Over all the mashed potatoes were very good even ordered a potato soup to go. Overall the service and food was good. We came here for a late lunch and ordered the cheese bites for an appitizer and I got the... chicken pot pie and my husband got the Buffalo chicken wraps. We didn't know that they now serve you croissants when you'reseated. They taste just like Pillsbury croissants but the honey butter mix they slather them in is delicious. The cheese biteswere pretty good but they came out just a little bit before our food. The waiter kept going back to check on them and overall itwas a long wait for our food as others around us who were seated after us got their dishes. Once our food arrived it was goodbut both our dishes lacked flavor. They were kinda bland and just needed seasoning. I've enjoyed Cheddars for a long time but Ifeel like this location isn't as good as it used to be. Read more
