This is a new gem in downtown Spooner! I grew up in this town and my family personally knows the owner of this place, Laura.... Laura is so sweet and that is the same with her baked goods! I went this past weekend and had her lunch special of baked pastahotdish (or casserole for those who aren\'t from the Midwest), which came with cornbread or biscuit and choice of pie, all for10.99! Oh and also choice of drink! I tried her blueberry cheesecake pie, so delicious and simple, reminds me of mom or grandmacooking, take your pick, but it was so delicious! She also has cupcakes, cornbread, banana bread, strawberry cheesecake pie,coconut cream pie, that\'s what I can remember from memory! Her little shop is in the back of the building, shared with aclothing an yoga studio. It is simple but delicious! Laura will go out of your way to wait on you in the sweetest way so stop bythis new owner\'s place and support local; you won\'t regret supporting local! And the street this business is on is still openduring road construction. Isn\'t the pic of this pie so delicious? You know you want some, stop by when you are up north to grabsome homemade goodies! Oh and current hours are 10 AM to 5 PM, Mon-Sat, but check back after Memorial Day as most business upnorth expand their hours for summer! Read more
