My husband and son went for dad/son date. The table next to them had a pine beetle in their cup of mountain dew, and continued... to drink it.... Then m t sons hamburger had a very odd texture to it... not even tasting like meat...maybe a weird cubed steak..it was weird and gross..Also the fish and chips cMe out with one 4 inch long piece of fish that was gross. Very sad experience..... Read more

I had no idea such delicious food was hidden inside an unassuming billiard hall. The setup inside is cool yet classy. It was... difficult narrowing down what we wanted to eat as everything looked delectable. We decided to try three of their craft burgers(Black Diamond Burger, Turducken Burger and Buffalo Duck Burger). All of the burgers were scrumptious in their own, unique way.Who would have thought to put stuffing on a burger or that you'd find a buffalo/duck burger in Spokane but surprisingly it allworked together in a tastefully appealing way! Even though all of the burgers tasted wonderful, our favorite was The BlackDiamond Burger. I've been on a personal hunt to find the best craft burger in the Spokane and CDA area. It is definitely a musttry burger! The Black Diamond Burger is exquisite in its simplicity. You can taste the difference in all of the food becausethey use high quality, fresh, local ingredients which make all the difference. Our family loves sauces and even their sauces aremade from scratch. I appreciate that this establishment uses local ingredients as much as possible to support local businesses. The spinach artichoke dip croquettes and onion rings are a must try as well. You can tell that thought, passion, creativity, effort and talent are put into each dish on their menu. The service was great as well. We look forward to trying The BlackDiamond again when we are in the Spokane Valley. Read more

My boyfriend and I came here for our one year anniversary, since our first date was here. A little bit of nostalgia, ya... know? The experience was TERRIBLE! When we got there, it took almost 15 minutes for anyone to even acknowledge that we werethere, even though multiple bartenders looked up at us. No "hey, we'll be right with you" or anything. They even helped threeother customers before us (who came up to the bar AFTER us). Once we were finally helped, the girl was not super friendly. Shetalked to us in a very condescending tone, and when we picked a pool table said "You won't be in my area, but I'll deliver yourdrinks to your table anyway" and gave us the name of a guy who was apparently the server for our area. Now, keep in mind weordered ONE pitcher of Blue Moon. That's it. Guess what? SHE NEVER BROUGHT IT!! After about 20 minutes, I noticed her vacuuminganother area of the bar. When I went up to the bar to collect the beer we'd paid for, the other bartender got snippy and said"I'll be with you when I can". I said, "actually, the server with the bunny ears was supposed to bring it by 20 minutes ago, soI'd kind of like it now, please". She then acted like it was a huge inconvenience. I don't know who the actual server was forour area, because we never were asked by ANYONE if we were okay or needed anything else. While the tables are nice, they arealso paid for by the hour, and it's fairly expensive when you consider most pool tables in bars are 50 to 75 cents per game..andmost people only play two (maybe three) games in an hours time. When we went to pay our tab and get our ID back, we were chargeda "prorated" fee of $8 because we went over our hour. But we were standing AT THE BAR, with the pool balls, waiting for someoneto actually pay attention for 8 minutes and help us. We actually played for 55 mins (I know that for a fact, because I set atimer so we didn't go over an hour). Then, to top it all off....they didn't give my boyfriend back his Read more

Went for drinks and pool. Love how they have so many pool tables. Shuffle board is fun. Staff is nice. If I had to nit pick I... would say a chalkboard eraser would be nice for the chalkboard instead of napkins and better darts for the dart board. Read more

Do not dress warmly, their ac is broken still according to one of the bar tenders it has been since before summer started. It... got very warm while we were there and it was 50 and below outside. Ensure to bring cash or a debit card, some of the games costa lot of quarters. Atmosphere was good, they packed things in to the point that we were constantly having to check surroundingswhen playing pool. With that said there was plenty of pool tables, one shuffle board table that I did see, and one darts machinethat cost 12 quarters. They had only a few bar tenders who also took food orders. Their system was not great as you have to onlysee the first person you ordered through as no other wait staff/bartender could access your tab. The food didn't sit well withmy husband nor my stomach. I ordered the fish and chips, you get one piece of fish laid in tartar sauce (which I can't have) and6 (if that) tiny "wedge" fries. The fish had some herbs still on the stem thrown on top. I had to order a side of tots becausethe "meal" was not filling. The tots were way over salted My husband ordered a burger with onion rings. The onion rings werefine I couldn't even try the burger (dietary restrictions). No photos due to being actively playing pool the majority of thetime. Read more
