went to use a gift card for the valley location and they told us that they don't honor the giftcard that had your name and... address on it.... why sell a gift card and not honor it. On Tuesday, June 14, 2022, my wife and I plus a few friends went to De Leon Foods for dinner. We had been to De Leon?s Taco &... Bar up north before and kind of expected a traditional family restaurant experience at this location as well. However, it is alittle different. You do order up at the deli and then go up and retrieve your food once it is cooked. But don?t let thatdissuade you from going because this place is awesome! Even though you aren?t assigned a server and even though the restaurantis within a grocery store, it is actually a really nice atmosphere. I ordered the enchiladas with green sauce and they weredelicious. Perfect amount of spice and the rice and beans were tasty. In addition to my wife?s dish she ordered for herself, shealso got ?Rebel Fries? (covered in cheese and chicken) to share with the table. It was a unique item that you don?t see at mostMexican restaurants. The prices are cheap compared to what you would pay at Azteca or other family Mexican restaurants and theplate presentations are really well-done. I would definitely recommend De Leon Foods! THIS PLACE!! This has everything that we used to get in Mexico when we used to visit. Everything here is authentic. The Cheetos... are what we lived on in Mexico and have not found them anywhere else in the US. So my family and I were ecstatic to find these.The Duritos are better than any other market we have found. I went into the store by accident and they have now gained acustomer for life!! Read more
Great store and decent food from the kitchen. The chili Verde which is boneless pork in green salsa was delicious and tender. ... Custom service was great. Store was nice and clean. If you need authentic Mexican ingredients, this is the best place in thearea to find them. The dopes were super delicious, we tried beef and chicken, both were super good. The salsa they give you isgood as well, just not very hot. Overall a great place to get some groceries and and quick bite to take home. PS, the guacamoleis mine. Read more
