Reviews for The Onion Bar & Grill North Spokane in Spokane, WA
Definitely filling! Our server was really nice and patient. We didn't have to wait for a table. Food was really good. Their... onion rings are delicious and humongous. Could be a meal by themselves. The chips for the salsa and chips were little stale. Butoverall nice experience Read more

Excellent food and great service. Love the atmosphere as well. Worth every penny spent.
Brought my dad & mother out to eat lunch for her birthday. Wheelchair accessible and easy to navigate. The atmosphere was very... calm and many other families were there of all ages. I ordered the spicy chicken pasta. Dad ordered the prawns & fries. Momordered the fettuccine with rock lobster and crab. We chose 4 onion rings as our appetizer. The breading was thin and crisp! The onion was easy to eat and bite apart with our teeth and no stringing of the onion. The tarter sauce it was served with wasalso very tasty. Mother ordered black tea with honey, lemon and sugar on the side. She said it was very good. Both parentsenjoyed the fried prawns. Mom said they were cooked perfectly. For her birthday dessert she chose the creme Brule. It wasenough for all 3 of us to enjoy. A nice new experience for my older parents who don't get out very much ? Read more

Well the wait wasn't too bad to get in 40 mins then we ordered appetizers they were yummy... onion rings, tater tot something,... mozzarella sticks, and the lobster crab lime dip spread with pita bread. (That was gross with the lime). All was good then hadto wait 2 more hrs to get our main course. Family of 6 so it wasn't like a huge table. Small portion for huge price. Server wasso busy that he gave us someone elses credit card. Billed us incorrectly. I ordered spicy chicken fettuccine and they forgot thechicken. Hamburger came out rather raw. $20 dollrs for a small bowl of mac n cheese. $20 for 3 street tacos. The sides areminiature. Over all a bad experience and wont be going back. Read more
Service was good and food came out fast. That?s about all that was good. Food was under flavored to the point I thought I was... back in England. Looked good, no flavor. Even my 9 year old said more salt was needed. The twins didn?t eat their food, lackof flavor. Who doesn?t finish Mac n cheese? My adult Mac n cheese had 2 blonde hairs in it. Gross. The onion bisque hadlarge chunks of some meat. The breaded mozzarella sticks had no flavor and didn?t come out melting. Onion rings overpriced at$2 a piece with a grease taste. French onion soup was beef broth. Read more
On Saturday, June 18, 2022, we ate at the North Spokane Onion restaurant. We brought a big group of 12 people?eight adults and... four children ranging in ages from 2-7. We also brought big appetites! It was a 30-minute wait but that length of time is muchmore tolerable when you have a special kid?s area to keep the little ones occupied. What?s not to like about a dedicated spotfor children complete with televisions, chalk boards, carnival mirrors, and more. Our large group was successfully seated alltogether in an arrangement that made sense. Our server did a good job navigating our special requests, including bringing outthe meals of our children before the adult meals. The kid?s menu at the Onion has a lot of choices with some boujie items thatrun up to $14. Our kids just got either mac and cheese or a cheeseburger. Not going to lie, it took a long time to get ourfood. Part of that was probably our group size, part of it was probably because it was a busy Saturday night, and part of itcould have been that the kitchen was having a bad night. But dare I say that the wait was worth it? I had the Cougar Goldcheeseburger that was absolutely superb. It was definitely the best burger that I had in quite some time. Although, I should addthat when you are paying $17.50 for a cheeseburger it better be good. The French fries matched the burger for quality andfreshness. They were so damn good. Here is a pro tip for all of you reading this: It isn?t outwardly advertised that the Onion?sFrench fries are bottomless but they are. Take advantage of it! My wife got the chicken ranch wrap as did my sister but therewere inconsistencies with how they were cooked. Overall, it was a good experience?at least for me. I appreciated a good mealand would definitely eat there again. Read more
