My wife and I ended another stellar stay at the hotel with breakfast. We were both delighted to see that Beverly would be taking... care of us again. All of the staff here are 5 star, but Beverly is our favorite. Her concern and kindness are genuine and she issimply a joy. Their breakfast buffet is premium. There is always a good variety of fresh fruit, and the traditional breakfaststaples are prepared with an obvious attention to quality and taste. But we both had vegetarian omelets today. Delicious! Beautiful hotel with an inviting atmosphere. The food was great & service excellent.

There were tons of empty tables we waited 20 minutes to be seated in a short line, just to self serve ourselves for the buffet.... One person in line complained to a manager and there was no reasonable explanation given. The restaurant was maybe 25% full, thetable next to us waited 45 minutes for food. I ate there yesterday, it's normally my favorite buffet to go to price is usually decent food is always fresh and lightly cooked... . Not yesterday, price went up again. I understand they have a new grill cook which puts way to much salt on the food. No horsesauce and like the Steak over salted. I'm on a strict low salt diet, now I have to look for another buffet for healthreasons.?????? Read more

Who can ask for a better spot than this in Spokane? Situated in a prime location overlooking the park with a swanky setup, the... Grand Terrace Bar is almost hidden from the guests of The Davenport Grand. Finding it next to the fitness center (ironic) youstep out onto a large patio decked out in burnt orange umbrellas and muted grays. Flowers adorn the edge and corners and a glassrailings provide ample views. Fire pits line the middle and the bar can be found at the end just inside a set of doubledoors. Casey, the bartender, was fantastic! Super friendly, happy to offer suggestions for the neighborhood, and he made greatdrinks on top of it. Whether you are staying at the Davenport or not, I highly recommend checking out this bar. Read more
