Two words: COMFORT FOOD. I actually planned to stop for lunch at one of the other neighborhood restaurants for a salad. Decided... to try Tasty Bun on a whim (since I parked right in front of it). Ordered the 2/3 size Honey Sesame Chicken Salad and the PorkBun. The salad was fresh, dressing was amazing, but overall flavor was lacking -good though if you like a simple salad. I am aveggie lover so just wish there were more salad options with veggies. Then, the pork bun....!!! Where do I begin?! I absolutelyloved it!!! Didn't look like much but it was PACKED with flavor and reminded me of something Grandma might make. Pure comfortfood. I'll definitely be back to try more of Tasty Bun. Read more
We tried tasty bun for the first time today. Very good food! We got the Swedish meat ball, pork and chicken curry. I think the... chicken curry was my favorite!!! The spicy/sweet sauce was yummy too. My husband said we should have tried the breakfast bun aswell so I guess we'll have to come back soon for those ;) Read more
I must say I am thoroughly impressed. The buns were absolutely delicious, and if you have not yet tried the shaved ice it is... absolutely amazing. Instead of being like crushed ice, it is much more smooth and more the texture of actual snow. The coconutvanilla cream is decadent, delicate, and absolutely delicious. This is the best shaved ice I have ever had. I have been wantingto try Tasty Bun for sometime, and I was not disappointed. Five stars. I will be returning again. I highly recommend the chickencurry bun. Read more
