Have been coming to the Shari's at Wandermere for probably well over 10 years now. I don't normally write bad reviews, But this... is the worst I've ever had to deal with at a restaurant. First before we even got our water, our silverware had a whitesubstance on it that had a bleach like smell to it, we also had a strong scent of bleach right at the table while eating. Foodwas decently slow getting out to us, even after ordering just fries and a burger with waters. Servers were great, even had atrainee shadowing her, and she was great aswell. When we got our food everything looked the part, smelled good, and tasted good.Didn't even think to check the meat or anything on it. But a simple fries and burger has made my stomach hurt worse than anyother restaurant has before. Constant bathroom problems tonight, cramps, throwing up. Don't know what caused it. Speaking ofbathroom type things, the bathroom at this location was probably one of the worst bathrooms I've been in, p**p coated the entiretoilet seat, the toilet seat cover box was just smashed sideways into the holder so those were unusable, there was barley anytoilet paper on some random roll just sitting on the side of the toilet, had garbage throughout the entire bathroom, along withmany many other things wrong with it. Overall the only good thing was the server and her shadow. Not that I won't ever go again,this is the first actually bad experience I've had in the hundreds of times going. The food here is always good, comforting and consistent, BUT THE STAFF here are just amazing. I was having a rough week, month,... day, and my server Becca was just so so genuine and kind, so was the girl who sat me down. Our waitress was great. I got a lemon chicken and rice. She asked about a vegetable. They brought fruit cup...all melons which... I don't eat. Portions were tiny. Everyone else at our table had great meals, good portions, etc. Read more

First visit to this location. We arrived not too long after opening and the doors have a sign up saying the A/C is currently... broken (this was fine for us since it was morning and not too hot). Once inside, we noticed the pie case was pretty bare (we hadplanned to leave with pies but ended up not getting any). We were seated quickly and our waitress brought us water glasses thentook our drink order (we didn't end up drinking the water so I felt it was wasteful). After deciding on what we wanted to order,I took a look around and noticed that the lamp above us was dusty. While waiting for our food, I noticed the server "clear" apreviously used table and she didn't clean it at all - no sanitizing, no wiping with a rag, just cleaned up the trash and putout new silverware. Our food arrived in a timely manner and was appropriate portions. The fruit bowl was just honeydew andcantaloupe (I was expecting more of a variety). They had placed butter on my companion's toast and neither of us had expectedthat - most places give you the butter separately and let you decide if you want to put it on your toast. The food wasfine. Visiting the bathroom you walk past booths that need repair, once-blue carpet that is nearly black in many places, and thenearly empty pie cases. In the bathroom, there is no soap dispenser, instead they are using a condiment squeeze bottle to putsoap in which ended up giving me too much soap. I think they need to take better care of this location, and there should be piesavailable for us to purchase, it's not like they sold out in the brief time they had been open before we arrived. I ordered off of their website, the food was done promptly for such a big order, the waitress who was alone a the time did a... great job communicating with me while she was bagging everything up. The waitress did make a point to tell me that the portionswere weighed out to specific amounts (which the menu did explain when I ordered). I picked up the food and drove home 30 min. Iunpackaged everything to find that both fry portions were more than a little under and the chicken strips as well were far underthe advertised portion. The food was flavorful and delicious however I doubt that we received even half of what we paid forsince we couldn't even chew one of our burgers it was so overcooked. I had reached out to them and the District of Operationscontacted me, I replied and sent an email back to her and after 2 weeks I have yet to hear back from anyone. I am postingpictures of the fry and chicken portions the fries were suppose to be 2 lbs and the chicken 5 lbs. I am sure I have been checkedoff as a complaint taken care of with the amount of time with no response. I hope others who chose this location (and/or theDistricts locations) have a better experience than myself. Read more

The restaurant was extremely busy, but the waitress was attentive and pleasant. She listened carefully to my special... instructions to overcook my eggs, and I saw her send them back before she ever brought them out to have them cooked extra welldone and when I got them they were perfect! The service was amazing. Our server was attentive, fun and quick. Too bad the food was terrible. The burger was under cooked,... the fries were luke warm, the biscuits and gravy were some nasty mess of a little gravy between two slices of luke warm hardbiscuit. I would NOT recommend getting the biscuits and gravy. The only good thing ordered was the hash browns which were theonly warm item we got. Very disappointing meal. Read more
