We (party of 2) had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated at lunch time. Booths have beautiful, locally made wood tabletops.... There was a lunch menu with about 5 reasonably-priced choices, but we ordered dinner items, along with an order of garlicbread--a crusty, buttery, sliced round loaf. The oxtail stew was delicious! From the moment we walked in it was a fabulous experience. The decor and layout are exceptional and captivating. Dakota (our... server) was pleasant, engaging and efficient. The selection on the menu was unique. I had an oxtail burger with pork belly andsweet potato fries. Probably the best burger I've ever had. All of the food served to our table was enjoyed. This was my second visit (recommended by a friend first time & loved it) and it was amazing, again. I got a steak salad (medium... well) & my mom got a Caesar steak salad (medium rare). Both of our steaks were cooked PERFECTLY, the staff was super attentive,and the environment was classy and relaxing. We love this place, will continue to visit, and highly recommend! Read more

We made reservations for 7pm on a Monday night and sat right down. We had great service with water refills, order taken quickly... and the food arrived not too long after. As a family we all tried, mango fish tacos, the elk burger, a steak, and a Santa Fechicken salad. As we pulled in to the Hilton Garden Inn, we saw the Rusty Moose and chuckled about the restaurant that looked like a wanna be... Ruby Tuesday in the adjoining parking lot. Looking for somewhere to eat about an hour later, I was surprised to see very goodreviews for this Rusty Moose. Seeing that we could walk there, have a couple drinks and walk back, we gave it a try, and boy amI glad we did. It totally lives up to the positive reviews. Delicious food, attentive staff, fast service without rushing you,and a great atmosphere. Totally unexpected, but this restaurant gets it all right. We had the elk burger (first time for thatand it was delicious) a Caesar salad which done just right, not over-dressed, and to top it off a brownie sundae absolutelycovered in whipped cream. Thé ambiance is amazing. To start we had elk mozzarella meatballs- they are absolutely delicious! Freshly made with two sausage... to compliment. My main dish was Elk Salisbury steak served with mash potato and steam veggies. The portions are very generous.The service is fast, friendly and professional. Would love to be back here ! Read more
Staying next-door at the Hilton we decided to walk over here tonight for dinner. We were greeted immediately and taken to our... table. I had made reservations not knowing how busy it was and I really didn’t need them for a Tuesday night. A lovely younglady approached our table and took our drink orders. When she returned She helped us in making some decisions on what to order.She was spot on with her choices. We both ordered a cup of the potato soup which hit the spot on a cold night. I had thehuckleberry salmon and my colleague had the steak. Although I didn’t like the huckleberries on my salmon the salmon was cookedfine as I scraped off the huckleberries. Great atmosphere, great decor and I would recommend stopping here for dinner ifyou’re in the area. Read more
