Honestly the two servers behind the bar were fantastic. Gave excellent recommendations and Rylie especially was super sweet and... kinda quirky... smiled the whole time. James was very informative and made me feel like a friend in minutes. The pizza oven wasreally neat too. The whole atmosphere screams casual but the service is phenomenal. Do yourself a favor and eat some pizza, sipa dark amber and take a load off. Read more
Service was friendly, and quick. Prices are a bit high, but the pizza was served right out of the oven and tasty! Lots of sports... on the tvs, and plenty of seating options. Edit: the comment about price wasn't supposed to be bad. I fully understandinflation, and how it flows into everything, everywhere. First time ordering, the cheese pizza and cheese bread were great. I ordered a taco pizza and the salty balls too, the balls... were good but no cheese dip so bland except for some of them that has cinnamon and sugar on them? Pretty interesting lol. Thetaco pizza didn't have lettuce, tomatoes, or sour cream on it which I was bummed, I really wanted to try it. ???????disappointed for sure for the first go of it, especially for the price I definitely want everything stated lol Read more
I have been to McClain?s numerous times throughout the years but I decided that before we entered the restaurant for our July 8,... 2022 visit that I would review it?good or bad. My wife, two small children, and my parents went for dinner. It always smellslike a true pizzeria in McClain?s and on this night it was busy but we were able to get seated right away. Our server was James.My 5-year-old and 2-year-old each ordered off the kid?s menu with my oldest getting the 2 slices of cheese pizza and my youngestthe chicken tenders and jojos. My wife ordered the Italian sandwich which also came with jojos. My parents and I ordered twomedium pizzas to split?the spicy thai and meat coma. The spicy thai is probably my favorite pizza of all time and it didn?tdisappoint last night. So so so good. The flavor, slight spice, and fresh ingredients always satisfies me. The meat pizza wassuperb too. Pizza prices, in my opinion, are a little spendy but the quality is definitely worth it. My wife loved her sandwichand the kids ate their dinners (which these days isn?t always the case). All of us adults ordered beers and it is worth notingthat all brews at McClain?s are always cold. I don?t know how many times I have been to restaurants and the beer is lukewarm?ithappens more often than you think. So I really appreciate an ice cold adult beverage which you can get every time at McClain?s.All tables have boxes of Trivial Pursuit cards that we used and enjoyed last night as we waited for our food?they are a nicetouch. Last but not least, James did an excellent job taking care of us. He had a superior command of the menu, providedrecommendations when we asked, and had an engaging personality. McClains is hand down one of the best Pizzerias in Washington State. We wanted to get off the beaten path from downtown and we... Anthony Bourdained our way into this little shop. Lucky enough for us the owner happened to be there. Rob is one of the nicestguys out there and gave us some insider info. They only use the highest quality galbani mozzarella cheese and you can taste thedifference. They also have the only rotating pizza oven on the east side of the state. We started with Buffalo Chicken CheesyBread which was awesome with a tap IPA. We dined on the Greek and Ostendorf. I don?t think I?ve ever eaten that much pizza in mylife. With all the TVs the game is easy to watch from anywhere and the staff is a bunch of hard working young folks. On top ofall that we learned this is a Veteran Owned business and were happy to support that. Rob also let us know all the support thatthey provide for local high schools and teams. Good pizza they totally hooked up the extra cheese. Great staff! Loved the wings!! Happy hour cheesy bread and wine was a... plus!!! Kids were super stuffed!!! Nice atmosphere. Love locally owned businesses that rep good food. If you want the realclassic pizza go there. Read more
Amazing service Delicious food - it has ruined other chain pizza for me Fun atmosphere with games on 13 different screens... throughout the restaurant.
