Bland food. Rolls are tasteless and chicken is battered with no flavorings. Better chicken at Walmart. Mac and cheese is only... thing that tasted decent very disappointed. *Staff tried to fix with dessert however, the peach cobbler was even worse. Frozenpie defrosted. I wanted to try this place and ended up leaving before they officially unlocked the doors. I have heard great things about the... food and was a little bummed having to leave. I was just trying to grab something quick but, they seem to be a stickler foropening at or after their posted hours. It?s a bit of a pet peeve of mine that a business actually lets customers wait outsidewithin an appropriate amount of time before opening (5ish minutes before opening seems reasonable) At least open up on time. Went here today. Informed it would be at least a 45-minute wait for any bone-in chicken. Additionally, they were out of most... sides. I went with a 3-piece strip and corn/mashed potatoes. Total was $17. Scrawniest chicken strips I?ve ever seen (lookyourself), overcooked and over-breaded. Corn was cool and mashed potatoes were gritty. Chicken flavor was really good. However my kids three piece tenders were larger than my adult meal by far. My spicy tenders were... about the size of a large thumb. My kids regular tenders were a normal size though. More than enough for a kid and not truly akids meal. The bread/bun thing was good. Our sides were not good though. My potatoes were watery and the gravy was very liquidwith no substance. Mac N cheese was just okay, didn't taste fresh. Overall, I would return again but not get the meals. In my opinion, one of the tastiest fried chicken places in town. Their rolls are yummy. I like the gizzards, but it is a... crapshoot if they have them available when I stop in. I wished that it was more consistent. It feel like they are working onimproving their customer service and they have some friendlier, more engaging staff working the front counter. A much neededimprovement! If they keep up the positive customer service, we will continue to come back. Read more
My first disappointment in coming here for lunch for my child and I was the price, $20 for a kids meal with just one chicken... strip, a side and a dozen rolls and a fountain drink. It had been busy and I had to repeat my order item by item to thedistracted cashier. To his credit, it looked like he was doing his best. It wasn't even very busy though and the wait was wellover 20 minutes for this small order. They were out of both types of pie. The rolls, which are advertised as "served warm" werecold and did not taste fresh at all. Was hoping for honey butter for the rolls but they charge extra just for small packets ofhoney ???? won't be back. Only vegetarian options are sides. Read more
Stopped in for a late lunch and was pleasantly surprised with this place ! Chicken is cooked to perfection and season well and... not over spiced. Chicken is moist and not try. Rolls were soft and fresh. Will definitely eat here again Read more
Ezells was my favorite fried chicken spot in Spokane since 2017. For years the food has been consistently great up until the... last year. The last few times I ordered I had really bad experiences with my food being over cooked, rolls tasted stale etc. But it wasn't until 11/23/22 I placed an order after work and was extremely dissatisfied with my food. The rolls were stillraw, the chicken tenders had absolutely no flavor and very over cooked and the French fries were also not even cooked all theway. I didn't even call and complain because nothing will ever get my love back for this place. I will no longer be spendingmoney here and will continue to get my fried chicken from Safeway since it's much tastier now then Ezells. Read more
