Be ready to open your wallet way bigger than ever before! Prices have almost doubled since June. And good luck with their math... too. Sad what this place has become. Drove from the South Side to get it for lunch...$48.51 for 3 of us to eat. Oh and like 6cheese balls in an order for $4. And careful on sizes Large Malt = Quart size for $7.75! Never coming back. So sad. Read more

Very cool and charming place. The service was great! Food is that what you expect from a drive-in... Think the Varsity or the... Beacon. Lots of seating. You can eat in your car with a tray attached to your window. Definitely worth a stop! Read more

Atmosphere is like I remembered years ago. Tenderloin was a little dry, but good. Onion rings were great. Server was quick. The... trays are like I remember as a child. Read more

My first time eating here. The tenderloin was okay, but didn't care too much for the cheeseburger. They charge separate for... toppings, which I think I would've paid an extra 2.10 a piece for the sandwiches. Fries could've been cooked a little longer.Overall, it's an okay spot. I'd go back for the tenderloin. Read more

Legendary! The oldest drive-in in Indianapolis, Mug-n-Bun was founded in 1960. My mom is a diner fan and has never been here,... so we went today during the final full day of my month long visit to Indy. I had the Mug-N-Bun Special which is a burger withbacon and cheese on toast. She had a single burger. We also had WAY too many crinkle cut fries, nibblers (baby fried onion ringsand their onion rings are the BEST), and cheese sticks because I love fried cheese in all forms. And of course - two rootbeers. They make their own and it is the best, creamiest root beer I've ever had. You can dine at a picnic table, the diningroom (week days only) or pull your car up for carside service! Just turn your car lights on ????. Deliciously unhealthy lunchat one of my favorite places. I even took a mug home with me! Great service, too. A true icon of Indianapolis. Read more

The root beer floats were the perfect afternoon snack. The warm funnel fries had the perfect crisp on the outside and soft on... the inside. Then dipped it into the sweet dipping sauce made the funnel fries taste even better. Read more
