Portions were huge, I had the prime rib. The steak was cooked perfectly but did not have a lot of flavor. The salads are always... amazing. The servers didn't disappoint. It's a higher end restaurant so a bill of over $100 should be expected. Read more
Atmosphere was good, but not great. Service was very good. The whole "seated salad bar" concept seems neat, but was a bust.... Would have fixed my salad differently if I could see the stuff on the bar first. Covid's over, just bring back the bar. Steaksand sides were decent, but SO not worth the price. I've had as good or better at places like Longhorn or even Texas Roadhouse,and for half the price or less. When I go to a high-end restaurant, I expect high-end food and service together. My wife and I went for our anniversary. Atmosphere was nice but we were seated at a table under a dripping ac vent (leaking on... our table). The salad was decent. The steak had no seasoning at all. The best part of the meal was the bread and butter. Servicewas great. I would not recommend we could have had a far better and more flavorful steak for far half the price. Paying for ambiance and alcohol selection. Food menu, at the time, was verbal, so I got on my phone to see what they had...but 2... physical menus of wine! Above average food. Good atmosphere. Disappointing service. Our cocktails were either wrong, weak or took a very long time to... arrive. Bread service was slow. Our water was never refilled, even though we asked. Our waiter didn?t offer wine with our dinnerso we had to ask. Dishes were slow to be cleared. But. Alex, who cut steaks table side, was charming. The food was tasty. And weenjoyed the private feel of the high walled booth. I?ve wanted to visit the Peddler for years and I?m so glad I can check it offmy list. Read more
