Reviews for Mon Amie Morning Cafe in Spartanburg, SC
Not sure how anyone had gave this place less than a 5. Food was fantastic and by the time we left the line was filling the... parking lot. Hands down 10/10 food Read more
I have wanted to visit this restaurant for years but somehow I never made it there during business hours. I?d heard so many nice... things about the place so I was curious. Today my Husband and I finally got a change to stop by. It was wonderful. Therestaurant is warm and cozy. The wait staff was nice and very helpful. I had the Shrimp and Grits. Not only was it delicious butthe portions were huge also. They make sure that the food is beautifully plated delicious and that you get your money?s worth. We will be going back soon. Read more
Love this place! Went back for a second time to try their Myers Lemon and Blueberry Crepe with a side of Parisienne Cream. It... did NOT disappoint. Mon Aime' Cafe is very generous with their lemon curd and fresh blueberries. It was not overly sweet nor atrace of bitterness. Perfect would describe this dish. Atmosphere is lovely. This day we dined on the patio. The employees aresome of the best. They set the standard on service. You will not be disappointed with your dining experience. (I added my emptyplate because my momma taught us that "Ladies always leave a bite.". -Let's just say that I failed that test. -Ha!!) Read more
Made a special journey to have brunch, and since they don?t take reservations, waited outside on a bench. The Country Style... Benedict (Toasted Southern biscuit topped with deep- fried, country fried beef steak smothered in white pepper gravy and 2poached eggs, garnished with house chow-chow - $13.75) was served with the eggs well undercooked and running all over the plate, and the chow-chow had a twang that made me wish I had ordered it on the side. The Meyer Lemon and Blueberry French Toast(Classic French toast topped with sweetened Meyer Lemon Cream and fresh blueberries, dusted with fresh powdered sugar and toppedwith a lemon glaze - $12) was made with two very thin slices of bread which were limp and quite ordinary, at best- the creamnothing special to save it. Apparently there was a shortage of hot water in the restaurant which delayed the delivery of theFrench Press coffee, which ended up being served cold, anyway. Our server, Frances, was totally un-apologetic when she replacedit with regular coffee as requested. Despite having food runners, bussers and not having to process payments at the table, service was still painfully slow. Really just completed the whole experience. This version of je ne sais quoi is not worthanother journey. Read more
Service was wonderful. Maybe had to wait an hour but worth it. Everyone working was so nice and friendly. Food is so good we... might just have to make this place a once a week thing. The price is very reasonable for the quality/amount of food you get. Read more
Excellent Crêpes! Friendly atmosphere, awesome staff. Get a seat at the bar so you can watch your Crêpes being made. Will... definitely be eating there again. My "Ooh la la" Crêpe stuffed with strawberries, bananas, and Nutella was fabulous. And goodcoffee to wash it down. Our waitress was super - friendly and attentive. Read more

This restaurant was decorated to fit the cuisine and included a crepe station with "bar" seating. The food has good flavor and... there was a decent sized menu. The service was spotty toward the end, but the restaurant was very busy with dine in, patio, anddrive through customers. Definitely worth a try. FYI: The main entrance is on the road side... it was a little awkward walkingthru the patio dining area as we couldn't see a formal entrance when we arrived. Read more
