First time eating at this one actually. Today it was not busy (Tuesday 4pm). I was glad because I was on my way out and wanted... to grab a quick dinner for the night! I got the turkey sandwich on wheat breat and it was amazingly delicious ????. Lemonadewas delicious well and can't forget the spear pickle!! Yummy!! Def will be back!! Yall's I've driven past this place so many times and it never looks busy so I'm always finding somewhere else to go. So today we... decided to go check it out! Guys this place does NOT Disappoint!!! We got the club and it was so fresh and the flavors weredelicious. Their blackberry sweet tea & lemonade was so refreshing on this hot day. If you're even in the area I would highlyrecommend it. I'm sitting in my car outside of the restaurant as I write this one. I've ordered from this place a handful of times and they've... either messed up something or forgotten it entirely. This time? They forgot to bring me my food in general. I ordered curbside45 minutes before I got there and called the number as the sign says. The woman was very friendly on the phone and said someonewould bring it to me shortly. 15 minutes later they still haven't. I walk in to ask for my food and its sitting to the side ofthe counter and no one has touched it. I tell them the situation and I get looked at by 3 girls behind the counter and the onewho hands me my food is completely indifferent to me. Then I look at my salad. Fresh avocado doesn't look like this. These areturning bad. Hard pass on the Mcalister's in Spartanburg from now on. Edited to add 2 stars for management: They also forgot mychicken but after speaking to management I'm getting a new salad and refund. Too long, didn't read version: Aside from a long wait due to a kitchen error that was addressed, the food was delicious and not... much more than other medium tier dining experiences. We got there shortly after opening time and there had all ready been acouple orders being filled for catering as we came through the door, which means they were going to be slow to taking our order,but that was okay cause it gave us time to check out the giant wall of text that is their menu. After finally ordering our foodfrom the friendly gal behind the counter, we sat down and talked for awhile, the tables were clean and there was a positivefeeling in the air, rushed but positive. After waiting awhile we started to realize this was no ordinary wait time, after oneof the managers clocked in and talked to his boss, he came over to apologize that the oven had shut off mid way through but thatit would be out shortly afterward. This was indeed the case, I would've docked them a point for this but they had the courtesyto tell us what had went wrong and that it wouldn't be much longer, what really secured them from losing a star is the fact thefood was delicious. So we'll get to the reason you're here, your items of consumption! I ordered a french dip sandwich andsome broccoli cheddar soup, now mind you that I don't broccoli, I usually test places to see if they can make a positive spin onitems that I don't like, so that I may get to enjoy it for a change, this was in fact the case! The soup was delicious and evenhad bits of carrot strung throughout it. My fiance ordered a grilled cheese and it came in a mixture of cheeses, it was enoughto fill her up and she was able to take the second half to work, she said even after heating it up it kept the same level offlavor, something that is rarely upheld after going through the dreaded microwave.
