Really good food. The oxtail, the jerk chicken, and beef meat pie were all delicious. Good portions too. Recommend you stop by.
Worst Jamaican food we?ve ever had. Jerk chicken was super tough I realized it was pretty much raw my husband got shrimp it was... undercooked as well. We all feel sick immediately after eating it. 50$ down the drain plus the tip. No one was nice either orgreeted us. We had to do everything ourselves. Yo!!!!.... Kingston Homestyle is everything. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The food is sooo delicious I came from out... of town to get some. Kingston Homestyle Kitchen is one of those jewels I?m always hoping to discover while on the road. I didn?t expect to find... anything so unique right next door to the vanilla Marriott convention center/hotel where the presenter parked us. On to thefood. The jerk chicken is wonderfully savory, slow cooked to perfection in a spice mixture that includes cinnamon and nutmeg(?). The meat fell right off the bone and was complimented by a heap of delicious plantains. The steamed cabbage could have usedmore seasoning, but this is a minor issue considering how delectable the meal was. We tried the jerk chicken, curried goat, and oxtails with mac and cheese, cabbage, Rasta pasta, rice and peas, chicken patty and... beef patties. The pasta didn't look like the pictures. The cabbage was hard and a little bland. The chicken patty had verylittle meat. The beef patties were mushy. Overall, it was just okay. Read more
Got the Curry Goat it was very good meat off the bone, cabbage was steamed to perfection with added vegetables( good) peas and... rice very good, plaintains. I will be coming back to try some more. I miss eating jamaican food. Found my place..Also gives youenough food Read more
