Tldr: Fun atmosphere, good beer (my husband says - and he's english), a good food. They have beyond burgers for my... vegetarians. The vibe is super cool. It's dark and you bask in the glow of neon lights. The decoration is fun to look at andit's clean. The bathrooms are also clean. The bar itself is kinda small, but there is lots of other seating inside and outsidethe pub. Live music plays often, just check online to know the times and trivia is on Tuesday. Grabbed dinner here before walking over to the Chapman Cultural Center to see Spartanburg Little Theatres production of Sister... Act. We walked up on a Saturday and didn?t have a terrible wait. We chose to sit at one of the outside tables because weatherwas so nice. There was live music which we really enjoyed. Came in on a Saturday afternoon. Was seated outside right away. The service was great. The food was outstanding. The hamburger... was nice and juice the Mac n cheese was good. The fish n chips were good. The fish had nice big flakes with a good beer battercoating on it. There is a good selection of craft beer. If would visit this place again because there were a lot of other thingson the menu I would like to try. Read more

Came for Restaurant Week. It was our first time here, although we've been wanting to try it for a while because we heard good... things. I got the Shepherds Pie, something I haven't eaten for probably 20 years. Unfortunately, I can only label it asmediocre. I was not convinced that this was freshly prepared for me. And it was much too salty, so much so I couldn't even eatit all. I certainly would not order it again. The Caesars salad was also mediocre. It just seemed lifeless, like maybe thelettuce was poured out of a bag and a few croutons thrown in. I would not want it again, and I love Caesar salad. Which leavesone last course: the dessert. We got the "big cookie" with ice cream. While it had a good flavor, it was held back by itsexecution. It was MUCH too hard. I could barely split it with my fork... every bite took a LOT of work to break off. I thinkmaybe it was baked for too long. It should have been warm... hot enough to melt the ice cream on top, or at least soften it up alittle. But it was room temp, and the ice cream too hard and cold. I could have made this much better at home. That's theopposite of what you should be thinking at a restaurant. The mediocre food was redeemed by the hip ambience inside. It simplylooked and felt like a fun place to be. What else was good was the service. Our server Dylan was great. Prompt, friendly,attentive... great asset to the team there. I wouldn't mind returning. I'd choose completely different items, and come whenthey are busier. Hopefully that's when the food is at its best! Read more
Amazing rueben sandwich! I really enjoyed the atmosphere as well and the option to have a proper pint, Black and Tan and an... entire list of other beer/drink combos! They were having trivia night when we arrived and there was a fun crowd who was reallyinto it. Seem to have a nice selection of live music throughout the week as well! Staff was great and the food was terrific. Also has a great fish and chip plate u need to try!
