I have never had a bad experience here! The variety of ciders and beers is enhanced by a few seltzers and the occasional mead,... so I can always find something to fit my mood. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable as well as welcoming to large groups.Well-supervised children are allowed, which is a big bonus to me! Karaoke night is fun and not usually too crowded, so peopleget to sing more than once. All in all, this has become our local bar! Read more
Relaxing place to have a beverage and some cool appetizers, played cards at one of the large tables and had the soft pretzels... with beer cheese that was very good , so good we got another order , had the veggie plate as well, enjoyed the visit and hope tobe back , thank you ! Read more
The greatest place to go in Spartanburg hands down. Award winning beer cheese and an absolutely fantastic selection of beer,... cider, and mead to drink. The staff has always been beyond friendly every time I have visited. They are dog friendly and havealways provided water bowls. I could not recommend this place enough to anyone looking to have a great night out in Spartanburg. Read more
Not so good. Would not recommend. They advertised karaoke. We walked in and the place was completely dead. There were about ten... people in the whole joint. It kind of gave me that middle school library vibe...just a couple of awkward weird kids loungingaround being very quiet. If that's your vibe, go for it. Read more
They were NOT my cup of tea for 2 weary Travellers. The "hipster, with a scraggly beard and beady eyes with glasses" behind the... bar, recalls my husband, had an F-off vibe. First he makes us come to him instead of walking down the bar to greet us. We hadbeen on the road for the past 4 hours. My husband wanted German food. What a disappointment to be treated so badly. Apparently,our German name did not carry any wait, at this restaurant but the color of my skin sure gave us a lot of F-off vibes. Another stop on our brewery hop. Enjoyed a flight of 5 different styles of beer. Sour, Eyeland cider, stout, brown and IPA. We... enjoyed all of the different flavors, giving very high marks to a sour that goes above and beyond. I really enjoyed the Dead MenTNT stout because it had a fun and unexpected (unless you read the description) bite of different peppers. The atmosphere wastrying to be fun. There is corn hole and a ping pong table available. Plenty of seating areas inside and some outside which willbe nice for warmer days. (Currently February 20th). The bathrooms are very clean. I just wish there was more of a theme kept inmind with the decor, or in this case, lack of decor. But the beer and service makes up for any of that. The bartender wasexcellent, very quick and helpful. We ordered an extra growler of the sour to go and he kindly kept it cool for us while we weretasting and even made sure we didn?t leave without it. I always enjoy coming here. The selection is really good and changes often. Regulars can join "the wall" and collect the drinks... they've had in beer passport kind of books that earn them rewards! The food is really good, too! Read more
There was a group of 50s, 60s, 70s year old people there playing music tonight. Just random people getting together to play.... Awesome! The stout is terrific!! I met some friends to celebrate a birthday. It's just a nice relaxed place. Try it. You willprobably like it. I did. ???? Read more
