We stopped by after a long hike, food was delicious! The house noodles were superb. The dumpling, chicken satay and curry puffs... were an amazing starter. For desert we ordered coconut and purple yam fried ice cream, they were the perfect ending to adelicious meal! So glad there is such good fresh Thai food in Sparta! Read more

This is one of those great hole-in-the-wall type of places. The appetizer sampler was great, my main course was fantastic and... the dessert was appealing. I can't wait to go back and try other dishes. This should be your first choice for local Thai. Read more

Just tried this new restaurant located next to Sparta Lanes. All our meals were cooked perfectly (we request them extra spicy!).... Dinners are large enough to get 2 meals out of them. Will definitely eat here again. Read more

Ordered from here today and the food was so good! I got the Pad Kee Mao with chicken, curry puff and Thai iced tea. Everything... was hot and fresh by the time I picked it up and brought it back to work with me. The iced tea was a bit on the sweet side formy personal taste, but it was still delicious! I ordered my food medium hot and it was hot! Definitely glad I didn't go for hot!Check this place out! You will not be disappointed Read more

Just incredible! The fried tofu was phenomenal and this was the best pineapple rice I ever had. Authentic Thai in Sparta!

Had lunch there today with friends passing through. In NYC, it would be 3-4 stars, but here it's a solid 5. I had my test dish -... green curry with chicken. Very good, with a slight but pleasant twist to the spices. (I just realized the difference - the greencurry sauce was light on the coconut milk. For which My heart is grateful.) My buddy had the red curry, and also rated ithighly. The portions, too, are larger than provided at the Thai places in Newton. Note that it is not a fancy spot. Many of theseats are old church pews, and all of the furniture is hard wood. And the dining room is only separated by a glass wall from thebowling alley. And, a warning for gourmands : i think the rice was short grain American rice, not Thai Jasmine rice. I'lldefinitely be back. Read more

Maliwans offers great Thai food and is a welcome addition to Sparta?s food scene. Flavorful dishes pack in the Thai tastes we... all love - sweet, spicy and savory with a delicious blend of meat and vegetables. We ordered 2 kitchen specials and a pad Thai -all were delicious. This is our new go-to Thai spot! Read more

Authentic, fresh, and delicious new Thai restaurant in Sparta. The dumplings had a delicate, thin dough and were packed with a... very generous chicken and pork filling. The curry puffs were perfectly flakey and crispy (not greasy at all!). We tried theChicken pad Thai and loved it. The owners were kind and friendly and the atmosphere was casual and comfortable. Great placefor date night or to take the family! Ask about the artwork!!! Read more
