Made a reservation for tonight a few nights ago, called to ask if a table was available a little earlier. Was asked to be put on... hold and got hung up on 3 separate times. The hostess was very rude telling me to hold. We were politely trying to see if wecould come a bit earlier. Otherwise, this place is great. Food is always fantastic and the views are beautiful. I understandthey are probably so busy and understaffed, but the Hostess needs to learn to call people back, or to not be rude. If I didn?tlike the spot so much I would have cancelled the reservation after my interaction with her. But otherwise, don?t let this ruinyour experience here. Beautiful views of the lake from a short 100 boardwalk that has several other established restaurants and shops. A diamond in... the rough location. Reminds of a small German town along the Rhine river. Beautiful place. Read more
Delicious food, beautiful view at reasonable price.
Called and was asked to hold, was hung up on after being on hold for 7 minutes trying to make a reservation. Ended up going and... they had availability. Food sounds better than it tastes. Service was okay. Views are incredible. BYOB style was interesting toa non local. Read more

I worked in the resturant business and there are some things you learn. Customer service is key ! The food was delicious but not... warm enough. They took it back and reheated my dish...which is not a good sign. If it was not pre -made then why wasn't it warm/ hot? Didn't they put the food under the lights in kitchen? PS it was not crowded at all This was a Sunday brunch of 3 smalltables. Also I told them it was my bff's birthday when making the reservation, they said no problem they would let my waiter/waitress aware. I thought that was great and so nice of them. Until they dropped the ball even when I reminded them 2x andhinted with desserts at a brunch! Big let down for me ! The wait staff was great, I tipped them all very well. They shouldn'thave to pay the price of others not giving quality service......sad experience because it has such a nice atmosphere. Read more
