I love Mexican food. Its hard to screw up Mexican dish but this place did it. Spices, hot sauce, cilantro, heat it up and you... got a Mexican dish. This place was dirty to start with. When I was walking through the door, I noticed 1# of grease on thewindows and the handles, but I went in anyway. The girls behind the counter were very nice and sweet. That was the highlight ofmy visit. The place was dirty, to say the least, and there were only 3 or 4 people inside, including me. Then my food came. Atfirst look I knew this is not going to be what I expected. Large cold, flower tortilla burrito with lots of shredded lettuce ontop of it. When I bit into it to my surprise the whole thing was luke warm at best. Forget about "be careful, hot plate" and hotvapors teasing your senses. Cold American burrito with lettuce and runny cold sour cream on top of one end. It looked likesomeone dropped the spoon on it while trying to apply it. The beans inside were clumped together and cold, the meat, AL Pastor,did not even taste like Mexican picadillo at all. It was some mix of shredded beef and pulled pork, cold and chewy.The wholething was disappointing beyond belief. I would compliment the food if I call it Horrible, it was worse then horrible. All it takes is one bad experience to ruin the reputation and credibility of a well established restaurant within a growing... community. With the lack of recipt breakdown after placing one's order, it is difficult to verify all food items specificallypricing. Especially when incorrect food items were recieved and only checked once home. After calling the location, I discussedthe error to a couple of employees just to be told the incorrect item would have to be delivered to the restaurant and swappedout for the correct item. After explaining to the lead or supervisor that it's ridiculous to drive all the way back into townjust to get the correct item just to throw it away was ridiculous. But i can take up with the manager when she gets in a fewdays. However, when going through the drive thru I verified the order but it was my word against the cashier. So in the end,avoid the establishment but if you don't mind waiting on a response or lack of accountability then it's a perfect place for lackluster Mexican food that trades convenience and quanity for quality. If you like Americanized Mexican food this is a great option, I personally do not like ground or shredded beef tacos and asada... is not an option. The chicken tacos were good, but since I prefer traditional Mexican fare I give this spot a mediocre meh. Theservice was excellent however... Read more
