Food good.. This location was pretty busy so had a wait with only 2 people on.. It's in a dicey area
I think this should be a 1 start review but didn't stay long for further conversation with manager. I ordered a sandwich and... looked over to the chips. I said "don't see any BBQ Baked Lays chips" The manager said I do the ordering and there was never anyordered. I replied sever months ago I was in the store and had Baked Lays. He again more flat tone said I do the ordering andwe don't have them. I replied it sounds like you are getting defensive. He replied I was accusing him of lying. I said no youjust said you hadn't ordered any and I was saying I had them before here in the store. He again said I was calling him a liar ina very negative tone. I love Port of Subs but what ever you do, Don?t go to this location. I honestly never write reviews but I?m so tired of getting... ripped off from these people here. Last time a went, I bought a brownie that felt very light in my bag and the employee madesure she put it in there for me. When I got home, I realized that it was a dry piece chocolate cake that was baked and wrappedto look like a brownie. Today, I think ?I just won?t order a brownie and it will be fine?. Wrong again. I order a side ofmacaroni salad and again it feels really light. I open it and they put maybe a scoop in the cup and it was about 1/3 full(about four bites worth). On top of that, there was this hard and rubbery outer skin from the salami that tried to use as aslice in my sandwich that I nearly choked on. In this case, I think it was worse because they were taking advantage of the factthat I ordered through Uber eats and was not there to watch what they were doing. Read more
My family and I love this location! The people who work there are happy and helpful. The place is always clean. There is a... divider between customers and the sandwich maker and ingredients. Every ingredient is fresh. We visit here frequently. On a sidenote: If you are pregnant, you may want to have someone come in to order for you. They use a lot of clorox to keep the placeclean and up to snuff and as a result can bring on the morning sickness very quickly. Reno native Port of Subs is always a good place to quickly grab a sandwich. They have a good rewards program if you are a... frequent Sub consumer. This location has weird road entry and parking-not much of it. Good is good, fresh, and made exactly howyou want it. Read more
I love Port Of Subs and surprised they haven't made it to San Diego. I think there was one in Escondido and I did go there once... but haven't found it since. Anyway, I recommend those who are tired of Subway and they're "not so great" customer service andgive Port of Subs a try. The staff is always friendly and take pride in their sandwiches.
