Firehouse was recommended by a friend and he wasn't wrong. The sandwich I chose was excellent and it taste great. The staff... was very friendly! I didn't know that they gave to local 1st responders. That was explained by the girl who took my order. Something different in the neighborhood is always a good thing. I would surely recommend coming here for something different Ido have to do an edit July 2020: has portion size gotten smaller? Less meat on the sandwich? Based just on the taste of their subs/sandwiches alone I think Firehouse is my favorite of them all. I Really good sub... sandwiches especially the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket. I also like their club on a sub. I always seem to have greatservice here. They have a drive-thru and you can use it to pick up your phone order. (Unfortunately their phone app doesn't workfor placing orders). They have the newer style soda machines that allow for a bunch of different soda options and flavors andsweetened/ unsweetened tea. Only negative is they are a little on pricey side, but the last time we went to Port O subs by ourhouse they were just as expensive (I feel Firehouse have much better sandwiches/subs overall).
