Great view, good service. Food was just okay. I had grilled mahi with fries and hubs had shrimp poboy. The mahi was the... smallest, thinnest piece of fish I’ve ever seen. It was good, just tiny. The hubs liked the bread on his poboy but could’veused more shrimp. Read more
Atmosphere and food for a great price! The flaming oysters are a must and great to order for the table. Also love their Po-Boy... sandwiches and just about everything else our group ordered. Also a cheap kids menu is nice for those of us with kiddos. Read more
We initially went to Ralph and Kacoo's but there no one host station and apparently only 1 bartender and 2 servers working... according to their own staff (Feb 15, 2022). Us along with 2 other set of customers waited for over 15 mins without anyone tosit us, hence we walked out. One of the parties suggested BLUEGILL and we are so glad they did and we happened to see them theretoo as they had walked out of Ralph and Kacoo's as well. Every single staff member was friendly and full of smiles at BLUEGILLRestaurant. All were greeted at the door unlike the previous place. The wait was about 5 to 10 mins (table of 3) as they werevery organized and we'll staffed even though they were very busy. Our server was Casey and she was wonderful. Very attentive,knowledgeable and suggested dishes and extremely friendly. We experienced great service and warm hospitality by every singlestaff member that we interacted with including the Manager, Kelly. The entire evening was terrific as all dishes weredelicious, service was great and hospitality was amazing. Will surely recommend this place to anyone who is living in Mobile orjust visiting. Such great southern hospitality and cuisine. Fresh and tasty. The staff were attentive and happy! The flaming oysters were... divine! Seriously, get the dozen! The sides were authentic and delicious— the sweet potato casserole was to die for. Do NOTmiss this period piece right on the delta. Read more
Food is amazing! I had been warned by my friend about the crazy wait time, and it's true there was and hour and 30 min wait when... we got there. However it is definitely worth the wait. Great food, great drinks, and great service. The only thing I do have tocomplain about are the restrooms, they were very dirty. However that would not stop me from going again ???? Read more
Great open air seafood restaurant on Mobile Bay with Caribbean entertainment and nice bar. Great a shrimp and fish combo with... two sides for $20. Beer on tap and good selection of whisky. You feel like your on vacation! Great crowd for a Tuesday too! Read more
