This place has become my new favorite ice cream place! The flavors are phenomenal, the ice cream is smooth and creamy, and the... few times we've been, the service has been excellent. This place was PACKED. It?s a new location and Spanish Fork doesn?t have a ton of IceCream options so it made sense. They were... super quick though - we got through the line extremely fast and our orders were exactly right. The workers seemed both politeand efficient. There are MANY flavors to choose from and the ones we ordered (strawberry cheesecake and roasted coconut caramel)were delicious. Great spot for a treat! Read more
Really good ice cream and the employees were really sweet and quick. There was a line out the door but they had plenty of people... working and got us out of there in about five minutes. Even the small size is a few giant scoops of ice cream and the wafflecones were really good. Will definitely be back this summer. Read more
Creamy, yummy, soft ice cream! (not soft serve) Great options and flavors. A little pricey, but everything costs more these... days, and they load it up so you get bang for your buck. Plus it's better quality. Nice workers, and clean store too. Read more
Handel?s is HANDS down the best ice cream in the world. Get the sampler until you find your favorite, only that doesn?t help... because every flavor you will fall in love with. This new ice cream parlor is located across from Costco. No line to get our ice cream which was nice. (4pm on a Thursday). The... flavor and selection were okay, but the prices were very high for the amount of ice cream we received. No place to sit downinside or outside either. There were 3 stools on the side of the counter, but they were all taken. We had to eat in our car.Floors and other surfaces were clean. Employees didn't wear gloves when scooping our ice cream though. I don't think we'll bereturn customers here. Read more
This place is brand new, near the Costco. The ice cream was delicious, the prices were not?..it was very expensive. Also,... cross your fingers your the only ones making a purchase because the seating room is next to none. When we went we ended uphaving to leave and eat out in our car. It must have been a family reunion or something but a large group took up the 5 barstool seats and the two benches of seating area. Bottom line?if u want to splurge for good ice cream, this is the place. Ifyou want a relaxing place to be able to sit and eat the expensive ice cream, then cross your fingers, pull out your lucky rabbitfoot, and find that four leaf clover, because all seats may be taken. While overall Handel's is visually underwhelming, both inside and out, it is quite delicious (try any sherbet with sprite, trust... me)! However, over a few visits I've noticed that there is absolutely a lack of hygiene present. Handels employees do not wearhair nets, or gloves. And every single employee that I could see on my last visit touched their hair, face, or clothingin-between touching waffle cones, scoops, and who-knows-what inside the icecream freezers without washing their hands orsanitizing. I want to be clear, this isn't coming from anything Covid related, I just feel like those in the food serviceindustry should take certain steps to ensure a clean dining establishment.
