It took a while for our food to be prepared, but the atmosphere made the experience memorable and worth it! There were heat... lamps, lanterns at each table, live music, and just an overall down-to-earth vibe that made for a great way to end a busy day :)Thanks, ladies! Read more

Al fresco dining at picnic tables, small shelter area at the side of the facility. Rather extensive seafood menu including... soups. Lobster.roll buns are small but fresh and toasted. Blueberry pie is very good. Read more

All around great place. Cool retro feel and ambiance. Great food - my family had a lobster dinner, a classic (cold) lobster... roll, and a scallops dinner and all were major hits. I?d been feeling the lack of variety in vegetables after five days oflobster pounds?and Charlotte?s to the rescue with a tasty seaweed salad. Also loved watching the chickens pecking through thegraveyard out back and a deer munching it?s way through the grass. Just a great experience. Read more

5 stars on atmosphere alone (and the food was great too). While there weren't any fancy waterfront views, Charlotte's more than... made up for it with its quaint, charming, local vibe. A grassy area off to the side served as a play area for our 4yo twins wholoved working up an appetite spraying water guns into the field, riding hobby horses, feeding goats lettuce, and watching a deerfamily cross right in front of them. When our food arrived, they tore it up. Lobster, chowder, cheesy tater tots, fried clams, blueberry pie -- they loved it all. It's so obvious that a lot of love went into this restaurant - you feel it from the momentyou arrive -- so I was sad to see that this will be Charlotte's last season. So glad we had the chance to eat here and hopingthat something changes so that we're able to return for many years to come. Read more

Lobster roll is just alright. We ordered the hot lobster roll which was different from the other lobster rolls we had. To me it... seemed like it was stir fried or something. We got the friend mussels which are good. Chicken tenders are just ok. They aretakeout only but they have a seating area. Read more

Love this spot. Charlotte's looks like an ice cream stand if you just drive by. I encourage you to stop and have something to... eat and visit a while. We met Charlotte - lovely person - she has owned the place for 10+ years. The t-shirt for sale wasexplained by the article posted beside it. (pictures) We had lobster, fisherman's platter, chowder, and drinks. There are twowood stoves and a heating unit under a roofed in dining area. There several picnic tables and other tables in this dining area. They have live music at various times too. We had some blueberry pie for dessert - yummy. We highly recommend Charlotte's. Thefood was delicious and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Read more
