This is now my favorite restaurant in Southport. Great outdoor seating, low volume music and fantastic food. Tate was a great... server who was attentive and polite. He deserves a raise. The food is amazing. Crab cake with chips (old bay seasoning) is amust. I do find it odd that they do not have a men's restroom, only a women's restroom and a family restroom. Read more

The best meal we had over our 3 night stay in Oak Island! Most places we ate at were bland and had no creativity. Every dish at... Edgewater 122 was bursting with flavors and had a creative touch. The homemade butter that came with our bread was honeysuckleand amazing! The blue crab arancini were amazing with the lemon aioli sauce. Not too bready and the flavor of the crab camethrough nicely. The fried brussels sprouts are not to be missed either with the harissa aioli but be warned, the serving sizewas huge and could easily feed 4 people! The trout was cooked perfectly and was tender and flaky and the green salsa sauce addedjust enough of flavor for the fish. The watermelon blue crab green salad that accompanied it was amazing as well. The hand cutfries were okay with the herbs and cheese but not enough of them and I think a steak fry would've been much better. The view isamazing as well! Great experience! Read more

We had an amazing meal at The Edgewater Memorial Day Weekend - the fact that they take reservations is awesome. Julie, our... server, was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make our meal special. The blue crab aranichi was worth the wait forthe chef to make a fresh batch. My scallops were perfection and the best part - the honeysuckle butter and fresh, warm bread!Will definitely be back. Read more

The restaurant is waterfront and does take reservations. Priority during the high traffic beach season. The hostess saw us... walking by the night before and called us over to listen to the upcoming specials. The whole menu was amazing. But the braisedbeef rib took the prize for me. Read more

I?ve found a new favorite restaurant at Southport! My mom and I sat on the beautifully-decorated patio and shared a gorgeous... artisan cheese board. The staff members were all extremely courteous and attentive, the view of the waterfront was unbeatable,and the food was phenomenal. We will definitely be back soon! Read more

Gorgeous location for brunch on a beautiful day. Friendly service is superb. Julie is the best ???? We tried mimosas, coconut... margarita, and a peaches and cream mimosa. All were delicious ????. Omelette of the day was provolone and kale. Expertlyprepared and served with some exceptional creamy polenta on the side. The side order of bacon was perfection; not too thin, nottoo thick, and just the right amount of crispness. French toast was light, fluffy, and sweet. Can?t wait to have dinner heresometime. Great new local restaurant! Food is amazing, and there is attention to detail on everything from the food presentation to the... decor.
