Celebrated Father's day here with a party of 10. To begin, major drawback here is parties of 8 or more must be one check. Seems... very antiquated to me. We were prepared though however as they did tell me ahead of time. Our server however was greatthroughout the whole experience and graciously separated the checks which we only needed 3 separate checks. It was happy hourand they have some great HH appetizer and drink deals which we took advantage of! The biscuits were incredible with that butterand jam! Everyone loved their food and we had a great time. We also tried all the desserts but we thought the raspberry breadpudding was the best. Peach cobbler needed more preaches and ice cream. This was my first time here and it did not disappoint! My awesome kiddo brought me here for lunch to celebrate my birthday and... all of our food was delicious. I ordered the Whistle Britches chicken in a biscuit and it was so tasty. They give you a saucecaddy with hot sauces honey and ketchup and we had fun trying the sauces out. Great location and delicious food. This restaurant is in a shopping center in Southlake, TX. The eatery was very clean and the... bathrooms were family bathrooms. Spacious area and great selection of meals. The french toast had just enough sweetness. Thechicken and waffles were correct portions. The chicken was moist and the waffle fluffy. I will be back. I heard about this place recently and we tried it for lunch this Saturday at 12:30. I used open table via google maps to make a... reservation while we were on our way since I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were seated immediately when we arrived, andservice was polite and efficient. We have a daughter in a wheelchair so I specifically asked for a table that was out of the wayso we would not be blocking walkways and was happy to have a good table with plenty of space around it. We ordered drinks andthe garlic fries right away and they were all excellent. The brown sugar lemonade was delicious and I could have eaten the wholeplate of garlic fries. It was so good I forgot to take a pic. We had two adults and two kids and ordered the chicken Benny,chicken & waffle and two kids meals. It was way too much food and we took home so many chicken strips. I almost always ordereggs Benedict if it’s on the menu and their take was excellent. My only suggestion for the whole experience would be to addmore of the pimento cheese and hollandaise sauce to the Chicken Benny. I asked for extra sauce and it would have been quite drywithout it. The pimento cheese was good, but so little was used that it really didn’t contribute to the dish in the way Iimagine it was intended. Overall we heartily enjoyed our meal and will have leftovers at least twice. We ended up with 3 goboxes of food and could have easily ordered one less kids meal and still had food to spare. We will be back again to try theregular menu sometime, but brunch was quite good. Read more
What a FANTASTIC place! Met some friends here for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised! There was so many great choices... on the menu I could hardly decide! The coffee though was OUTSTANDING! I might add if you drink decaffeinated coffee you are outof luck. They do not carry it there! I had the avocado toast and it was very tasty. The food was delicious. My favorite were the Brussels sprouts and corn fritters. I liked the seasoning on the chicken. Pancakes... could have been crisper, they were a little soggy. Service could have been better. When we arrived, the hostess said it will bea 45 min wait and asked for our number. The hostess took down the incorrect number. We learned this when we came back in 45 minlater to ask for an estimate of how much longer is the wait. The hostess said she called us already but a woman answered andsaid that they had the wrong number. Note to self, make sure the hostesses take down the correct number. Overall, the experiencewas ok, I would go back for the food. Read more
