I had a bad weekend foodwise - meaning that I ate too danged much and a lot of it wasn't good for me! (I ate TWO homemade pizzas... on Saturday!) I didn't want to decline an opportunity to have lunch with my buddy, but I didn't want to add on to my alreadyoverdone weekend. So I looked for something healthy and lo-Cal. And I found it. I had a bowl of vegetable soup and the SouthwestChicken and Avocado salad. I appreciate that the Calorie information was on the menu. I was able to select items that kept me inmy goal to make up for my weekend debauchery. The vegetable soup was really good (probably a lot of sodium though). And thesalad was good and reasonably filling. I really enjoyed my meal even though I was watching what I ate. It was just what thedoctor ordered. Ordered a Rachel for lunch to go. Should have got turkey but it was corned beef. I can't eat corned beef with my diet. Called... store, asked for manager, was placed on hold, heard someone pick up the phone and hang up. Not calling again, not wasting mytime. Horrible customer service experience, would not recommend. I actually think this is one of the nicer McAllisters I've been to. It has kind of a weird layout, but in a sense I actually... really like it? It makes it feel really cozy. Place was packed but service managed to be relatively quick. Food was hot andtasty and reasonably priced. Can't argue much against that! Read more
This was my first time coming to McAlister Deli and I simply loved it! The food was delicious! I ordered the half chicken salad... and added avocado and the dressing was very tasteful! Along with a delicious baked potato that was supposed to be steak but Isubstituted the steak for chicken with a side of sour cream!!! I topped it off with a black cherry flavored Sprite and a sugarcookie from out of this world! Thank you for the service as well as the delicious food! Went on lunch break and found long line but it moved amazingly fast and the service was great. Didn?t have to wait long for food... either. Their sweet tea is always good. First time trying the baked potatoes and I was not disappointed. Very filling andincluded plenty of toppings. Read more
If the restrooms look like this, I?d hate to see the kitchen. They must be assigning this ?chore? to the high school aged staff... members because they look as if they haven?t been cleaned in months. The young staff is also normally given chores likebathrooms, dishes, the stainless steel tea dispensers, and cleaning the fountain drink heads. My guess is if they aren?t doingthe bathrooms well that none of the plates or anything that drinks come from are being done well either. Say no to harmfulbacteria all over & in everything & just pick a different deli. Read more
