Loved the food and service however the drink prices are ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I don't see how this place can validate charging... $14 for a drink, small glass at that, is not even a full glass. There's no way I'll ever return based on that itself.. Isridiculous....I went because a frind who is a regular here invited me but didn't mention the prices, furthermore it was earlyFriday which should have been happy hr prices not regular price.... Solid spot for some good, home style Mexican food. We ordered some table side quac; I had Machaca from the weekend menu and my... lady had the chilaquiles, both were very good. I also got a tamale with chile con carne for myself on the side, I woulddefinitely have another one of those. Appropriately priced for the area as well, plus $3 mimosas on Sun. Absolutely amazing experience. Great service, and food. We got the la parillada fajitas Full Order and the quality was... fantastic! Beef, shrimp, and chicken fajitas were perfect. We got the flan for dessert, and the consistency was perfect. Thecaramel outside is complimented well by the strawberries on top. I highly recommend. I've been going to the one in Coppell foryrs, but the Southlake one is my new favorite. Southlake has a way better experience with service and Atmosphere and I will beback! Read more
Flavorless good, the only thing I liked were charro beans. The sour cream chicken enchiladas were bland and flavorless, the... cheese enchilada didn’t have much flavor either. Taco meat had flavor but the shell itself was hard as a rock, just like thechips with the salsa…. Hard and stale. Will not return. Read more

Very disappointing visit this evening. Not sure we will be returning! I would like to point out that the receptionist was the... only one who actually seemed to care about our visit and make sure we were getting taken care of. She gave us a great greetingas we walked in at 9:30pm and took us to our table where we received very cold and stale chips and 5 minutes went by with noserver greeting us so the receptionist checked on us and got our drinks and then a server came by speaking to us in Spanish justassuming we spoke Spanish and since my husband does he is the only one who responded to her. He ordered a cup of queso whichdidn’t come for almost 10 minutes and was cold! And thick! And during this time as well the server had not returned to takeour order. I wish we would of got up and left but my husband was really wanting the entree he came there for. We were bothservers/ bartenders years ago and understand they want to get home, so if they would of greeted us right away and took ourorder quickly and not ignored us then our food would of been brought out quickly and we could of ate and been gone before 10pm.Even with the long waits and disappointing service we still finished our dinner at 10:06pm. My fajitas nachos were very burntand cold, my husband plate was cold as well and he barely ate it. We were looking forward to Anamias and it ended up beingextremely disappointing. The receptionist once again checked on us and we explained to her we were upset and she apologized andtried to accommodate us for the burnt food and we really appreciated that. We are always very generous tippers and since beingservers and bartenders in our past know you get tipped on the great service you give but today no tip should of been given butwe just gave %15 to be nice.
