I ll start by saying the customer service here is outstanding. Everyone is super nice and helpful. I love the warm welcome and... service you get from the moment you walk in. The actual BBQ is just ok. The highlight of my meal was the jalapeño sausage. Iwish the brisket was a little more moist. The sides were on the meh side as well. I wasn?t the biggest fan of the Mac and cheeseeither. My meal was around 20 dollars total, a little on the higher side for BBQ. Overall, it?s just ok BBQ. It?s what youexpect from Connecticut. The food here was delicious, and honestly, I'd come back just for the mac and cheese! The staff were very friendly and... thoughtful! It was our first time here and they took the time to go over the menu with us. Also they were kind enough to give uscomplimentary peach cobbler! Which was amazing as well! Wow. AMAZING. food was so so good. Brisket so soft and juicy. Pulled pork left my mouth watering and the jalapeno and cheese... sausage was very good also. Corn bread was just right. I almost forgot the Mac and cheese. The carrot cake just made me cry itwas so good. The atmosphere was amazing. Respect for the heroes no one mentions. Been driving by for years since it opened and decided to finally stop in. All I can say is that Mission BBQ has really... affordable barbecue that doesn?t lack in flavor whatsoever. From the fast service to the multitude of sauce options on everytable, this has to be one of the best quick stop BBQ joints in the area that doesn?t break the bank. Read more
Mission BBQ is hit or miss sometimes. This time was almost a hit. What they seem to miss on is the food being hot. Like... everywhere else their prices have gone up... with that said they need to be consistent with the heat of their servings. MoistBrisket is really good and the six different sauces are great to choose from. Fries also taste great. You can't beat theatmosphere for a pro USA feeling. All servers were very friendly. Read more
