The young lady at the counter rude she don?t know how to talk to people she has a nasty attitude to all customers and only get... friendly when she go in the back to play with the cook. Her attitude is so off putting like she don?t even try and great you ortalk where you can hear what she is saying. On top of that they take forever to call your order up . The store could Definitelyuse a good cleaning and friendly customer services. I?m not sure if she aware but customer service is key and a nice attitudegoes along way. Maybe she should give the customers the same energy she gives the cook. Customers not acknowledge for 7mins ormore cuz she in the back taking pics and playing around. I called to place an order and when the girl answers the phone, she quickly blurts out something I should try even though she... was talking so fast I couldn't understand what she was saying. So I say "I like to place an order", and then she says"Can youcome in and order?" So why even answer, listing off specials if you're not taking orders over the phone?? So I say say umm ok,and then she just hung up. No thanks!! I called the one in Oak Park, placed my order OVER THE PHONE and went and picked it upwhere the place was clean and ppl were friendly. Food is decent, really like the coleslaw. But the attitudes and slow service sometimes makes me decide on elsewhere. And don't... think your saving time by calling in because they will take your whole order on the phone and then tell you once you get therethat you have to order at the counter. This happened 3times and the third time I was informed that they only take orders at thecounter because they don't cook anything until you get there. Also if you decide to buy any of their shelved items PLEASE CHECKTHE EXPIRATION DATE. Practically every time we have gotten something it was out dated or almost out dated. Every Captain Jay's including this one is a bust. They hire low life's with no morals. I called at 3pm ordered, arrived at 4:20... and still had to wait, so I ordered something else that came out before the original ordered. I paid extra for lemon pepperseasoning but their was none at all sprinkled on even the manager agree to this fact. The worst part is I was charged $150 forfood that was supposed to cost $79. When I went back for a refund the manager acted like he never seen me before n refused toassist with my problem. I should have went Karen mode on them but didn't. Called in my order an was told 15min. Came in 25min later an couldn't find my called in order. Paid an waited 40min. Don't give... refunds was told too someone else that was waiting on the rest of his order. 45min he waited! Poor customer service but goodfood when you finally get it Read more

I ordered a takeout from this location tonight for the very first time. It will never happen again. I ordered 2 pc Whiting with... lemon pepper and bread and hot sauce. 2 pc Tilapia no lemon pepper with tartar sauce and a medium fry. I also asked fornapkins. When I opened the order all we got was fish and nothing else that I requested. The fish didnt suit my taste because ithad lemon pepper on it and I requested no lemon pepper. Whenever my first experience is a bad one I dont patronize thatestablishment again or recommend it to anyone. I could have did much better buying fresh fish and preparing it in my ownkitchen. Food and service was great! It was cooked fresh and fast. Manager was helpful and working well with his staff to get food out... fast and accurately. I don't usually have a problem with this captain Jay's. I have called several times today to speak to a manager. I ordered 100... wings and when I decided to serve them the guests started complaining here are the photos. Never ever have i been this angry.These wings are old.
