I haven't been to O'Charley's in 2 years. To my surprise a lot of things had changed. Not in a bad way. They have more food... options and the $5 margarita special. I ordered the shrimp pasta dish that is suppose to be creamy with cheese on top instead I get this nasty spaghetti that smells... weird and it looks like someone took salsa and dabbed it in on the top. I have never had this problem happen before, My husbandcalled the restaurant and talked to someone who insist that he bring in the food tomorrow morning when they open because theythought we were lying. Tomorrow there better be a refund of my food that I did not get. Our receipt is correct and the food theyserved us will Definitely be sent back. I find it weird and gross that they want us to bring the food back the next day sincetheir closed. But anyways you get a 1 star for this mess. Our waiter was the best I've had in the last few years, especially since the pandemic. I had not been into this restaurant for... over a year due to bad service and food was not even good. This cook cooked our food "perfectly." It was very tasty. Our server"Sarge" was excellent and patient with us even though some of our party was late. We never asked for refills, she was rightthere with whatever our needs were. It made this experience the best for all 4 of us and my 2 yr old grandson. Why do I keep trying to give restaurants second and third chances? The food is crazy expensive now and it's not even worth what... they are charging us. I guess I feel if I don't go for months maybe they would have gotten better over time. Well, I visitedO'Charley's 11-13-22, and we were immediately seated. The waitress Gorgetta, (I think that's her name), was very polite. It tooka while to place our order because I guess O'Charley's is still understaffed. She tried her best. But my absolute favorite thingto order here are the pepperjack cheese wedges. They used to be so good. Now, they are just average, not as spicy as they usedto be. They were better today than the last time I visited about 5 months ago. I ordered the country style tenders w/mashedpotatoes and broccoli. I am so disappointed with this food. The tenders were so tough. I tried to cut them with my fork, veryunsuccessful. So, I got my knife and struggled to cut them. You would have thought I would have known something was wrong when Ihad to use my knife to cut chicken tenders. But O'Charley's pride themselves on their tenders in all the commercials. Well, notso today. Tough, old tenders, old mashed potatoes and extremely old, leftover broccoli. I cannot believe they would even putsomething that old and brown on my plate and serve it to me. Not sure how clear the pictures are but the broccoli was so brownand shriveled up I completely lost my appetite. I told the waitress at first that I would like some fresh broccoli. But after Itried the tenders and they were disgusting and old, I told her I do not want the food at all. My son's chipotle tenders on theother hand were fresh and tender and guess what, I cut his with my fork. His fries were not hot and he sent his old broccoliback too.
